The number on the "plastic" is just a number but it represents something real. What, you want it to be made out of different material because it's worth more?
We need to go back to the Gold Standard. Every fucking dollar in circulation needs to be tied to an equivalent amount of gold, silver, precious metals or something with REAL TANGIBLE WORTH, not a % of the GDP, not a % of gross exports and not some arbitrary bullshit like how much another currency holder would pay for a dollar like it is now. Then maybe people will understand Economics 101 and scarcity. There is a finite amount of dollars out there, large a number as it may be, you can't just "print more". The less scarce something is, the less it's desired, the less its worth and the less buying power it has. This is not a hard concept to grasp but damn if leftists refuse to grasp it!
