That often happens. Genius isn't inherited. Look at John Lennon's sons. Gosh,so many examples.

I've seen his son Dweezil play several times, totally worth it. One show they played all of One Size Fits All. The musicians in the band are extremely talented and cover all of Frank's catalog note for note. I would appreciate some more jamming, but it's still great to hear that music live.
