Yea, not to mention if you live in a big Blue City, your property taxes are too damn high. You are essentially renting your house from the Government. It's not your house anymore.
The property taxes in the suburbs of the city are horrendous. I retired an hour away so now I'm only in the top 10 most expensive counties to live in in America and not top 5. Half the money, 5 times the space, many perks too like nature and animals and hallelujah very little traffic.
