A nice evening around the fire. Alone.

Don't forget your tire pressure, oil level and furnace filter.

I should send this to the wife. Yesterday at the dinner table she casually mentioned"my passenger brake light doesn't work anymore".

I didn't even acknowledge. She will have to say it for me to do it.

"Could you please help me fix my brake light?"

Men are responsible for: -lifting all things heavy. -doing anything at heights -figuring complex stuff -all home IT work -all landscaping -all automotive issues -all plumbing -all electrical -all hvac -all interior home maintenance/repairs -all exterior home maintenance -snow removal -lawnmowing -tree trimming/felling -garbage/recycling -gas/electric tool maintenance -my thumbs are tired... -helping the parents -constructing furniture -helping parents' IT needs -basically repeat all that for family members -dealing with any and all city officials -dealing with utilities -I think the point is made, and this is still on top of all the regular family and work responsibilities. No wonder women live longer.
