Yesterday I went to Starbucks in Montecito and they closed their outdoor patio seating, but you could still buy coffee (which I didn’t). And today I find my regular coffee shop has not only done that, they’ve completely closed.
Another regular who goes there came by, and he told me all the small businesses are closed. Apple, in the picture, is open. They’re turning away people who didn’t make an appointment, they’re all masked, and they’re covid temperature checking everyone. And the banks are open too. And the big grocery stores. All the big DNC donors are open for business. Everybody else, suck it.
What a shame. Santa Barbara is such a nice town, or at least it used to be. Haven't been there in years.
