Justice Alito's move to call up the PA court case is a move to also give the other cases in other states to work through the judiciary process. Alito knew cowardly judges and corrupt judges would try and run out the clock.

How does this move the other cases up? Does it stop seating of electors?

If Alito grants a stay it shows the merritts of the case, and would like go before the full court, if they already haven't given tomorrow at noon. Lower courts don't like to be overturned by SCOTUS, and will try to prevent that if they see SCOTUS breaking for Trump.
