I've been going back and forth with one of mine since this morning's "COVID" excuse. I'm a federal employee at DoD in Arlington. I am like you, I would have doubt of ever hoping to get an answer directly, but it makes sense that you would once in a while. They are just people after all. You were actually able to speak to a state senator on the phone? Don't they have teams of secretaries whose job is to handle that?
It is easy to assume they would not. I am like you, I would have doubt of ever hoping to get an answer directly, but it makes sense that you would once in a while. They are just people after all. No mystique.
