Yes.

The key factor that seems to be missing in all of this is, "Can we prove it?"

You don't need to prove it. Enough circumstantial evidence already exists. Do you have to have a video of the murderer committing his crime to "prove" that they did it? Or is a shitload of circumstantial evidence more than good enough?

Listen, I'm not disagreeing with you.

I'm saying that it's going to take a LOT more than this if we want those in power and authority to willingly and knowingly place our country on the verge of a very violent communist uprising.

We can sit here all day and say, "It's the right thing to do! Do it for the country! The rule of law matters! What about our representative democracy!?" etc etc

And they may come back with, "I agree. I am doing this for the country. I don't want to see it devolve into a warzone. And if I can interpret the law in such a way that might prevent that from happening, then that's what I see my role as being here."

It's not about right and wrong. It's about self-interest. And, unfortunately, those scales may be tipping solidly AWAY from our favor.
