Thank you for writing in with your concerns regarding the 2020 presidential election. This is a very importan t issue and I appreciate hearing from you.

With Michigan certifying its results, Joe Biden has over 270 Electoral College votes. I felt it very important that the 70 million people who voted for President Trump to have their day in court. However, the President’s legal team has not presented concrete evidence of the massive fraud which would have had to be present to overturn the election. On December 1, 2020, the United States Justice Department announced that they have found zero evidence of voter fraud extensive enough to overturn an entire election. For weeks now, the campaign has promised us something that just doesn’t seem to be there. I have followed along and have seen almost all of the campaign’s court cases either thrown out or decided against. I voted for President Trump and continued to wish for his victory, but the President is now trailing Joe Biden by tens of thousands of votes in multiple swing states. The President himself has authorized the General Services Administration (GSA) to officially begin the transition process, as Joe Biden is on track to be the winner of the Electoral College.

I would like to thank the people of Louisiana for allowing me to serve you for another six years. We will continue our fight to solve the real issues facing all of Louisiana families.
