I'll just say this, Senator Ted Cruz is one of America's great fighters. He's got immense experience, having worked on Bush v Gore, and has argued before the SCOTUS several times.

Couldn't be in better hands!

He was on Bush v Gore too? Lol this whole thing is basically like they're getting the band back together, at this point.

4 of the current SCOTUS justices were involved in Bush V. Gore in one way or another, too.

Thomas actually voted with the majority, and is the last member of the majority who's still on the bench.

Roberts helped Bush with his defense at the SCOTUS, and both Barrett and Kavanaugh helped with litigation in the Florida courts.

It also says quiet a lot that a siting member of the Senate is giving oral arguments on behalf of a member of the house before the Judicial Branch, on a matter that directly effects the chief Executive.

Yeah let that bake for a few minutes.

He's NOT going to be arguing before SCOTUS. This was just an attention grabbing, empty gesture, politics 101 tweet. How does TD fall for this??

Don't mean to be a wet blanket, but this is a pretty prestigious case - won't the wigs in the current Trump Legal Team want to take this for posterity's sake? (I'm thinking Jay Sekulow, nothing against Cruz). I think Cruz is just offering his services at this point.

djt2020ftw 3 points ago +3 / -0

This is Congressman Mike Kelly's suit so he can choose who to litigates it. Officially not a Trump Legal Team case but affects the presidential race directly.

1
FreedomLover21 1 point ago +1 / -0

Agree. I hope Kelly has a top notch constitutional lawyer!

Yet Roberts now has been blackmailed or tuned cuck.

1
Cozette 1 point ago +1 / -0

Who cares? Roberts vote is no longer the deciding vote. He's irrelevant unless he votes with the majority. Then he can write the majority opinion. Maybe.

Lion Ted is pronounced the same way as Lyin' Ted and sounds exactly the same. Carry on.

Is this your first rodeo? The original The_Donald helped christen him from Lyin Ted to Lion Ted

Me too. Never would have said this before. Lion Ted has proved that he is a true patriot.

Marshall2 16 points ago +16 / -0

As a Texan who was familiar with him before he ran for President, I always discounted the political infighting because they actually have the same goal.

Well there's that whole thang about >>>bringing teddy bears and soccer balls to kids at the border =0

Also he is not likeable . Last time he ran he did not poll well with the rest of America. No charisma. Plus he's dry and kinda weird. Gives off a creepy ick feeling. He would be a sure loose candidate in the national election.

But no worries he wouldn't be coroneted ... it's going to be nikki ( if elections even matter anymore, they don't for me)

Eh, I think his current role is suited perfectly to his skill set. We still need fighters in the senate.

Ted doesn't have the same vision as some of the MAGA stars. He's too old school republican. I like Ron DeSantis for 2024. We don't need to keep drafting people from the swamp. Outsiders and Governors with a clear vision and a succesful track record seem to be the way to go.

Dpatriot 7 points ago +8 / -1

Santis/ Noem or Noam/DeSantis.

I like either.

What about Jordan? I'd take him in a NY minute. And that's coming from a New Yorker.

2
EvanWithDaSpice 2 points ago +2 / -0

Eh, same feeling as Ted. Keep him in the house and let him take the speaker position from that cuck McCarthy. I like Gym but he doesn't have a vision either and tbh he has kind of a Trey Gowdy. All talk and no action.
