Absolutely - but Home school in MANY states has been effectively warped vote interventionism
Into remote learning - they do ALL they can to control your curriculum and condition obedience anyway.
Home school should have NO involvement from public school socialists
Consider reading “Dumbing is Down”, which is written by three time American teacher of the year John Taylor Gatto. It is a short and eye open read. Especially the chapter “The Seven Lesson School Teacher”.
The follow up book “Weapons of Mass Instruction”, is an even more eye opening book about the corrupted system of American education and its design.
Not just "compulsory" public education, but any public education that involves anyone other than taxpaying parents of the children in a particular school having any say in the curriculum or in the hiring/firing of teachers and staff. And there should not be one cent of federal money going to education at any level.
Homeschooling is the best! My husband was homeschooled K-12, and I am so jealous. Their day went like this:
Wake up around 8 and have breakfast as a family including reading the Bible and having a nice family devotional every morning.
Then the kids would have 30 minutes to do their assigned chores. After that school would start around 9ish. They had recess and then back to school. They would break for lunch and the younger kids were done for the day. Older kids may have another hour of work after lunch and then they were done. They had all afternoon to play and do whatever. They were all involved in community sports teams and they were heavily involved in church. They got to go on tons of cool field trips with other homeschool families. My husband has an MBA and is doing very well in life, and he didn't have to deal with all the crap I did in public school.
If you can homeschool, do it! Both of my sisters are teachers (in a red state), and the stories I could tell you would appall you. It is so bad.
Thank you! Public school wastes sooo much time. I found college to be way easier than high school purely because I didn't spend so many hours sitting in class taking pointless electives just to fill up my day.
Highschool (excluding senior year):
35 hours a week in class
10-15 hours a week of homework (All AP classes)
=45-50 hrs per week
College (Average semester)
15 hours a week in class
15-20 hours a week of homework/studying
=30-35 hours per week
This is why I graduated from college in 3 years lol... compared to high school it was so easy!
Public school is a storage shed for parental responsibility to enable the conversion of citizens into consumer market batteries.
FREE thinking young people who can pursue their own interests at whatever pace they can learn TERRIFIES TH LE EQUITY CROWD.
Intelligent people must be made to suffer the dame outcomes as the signal zombies - “equity” demands it. Collectivists HATE any system that promotes competence and courage as they have none - they survive by being parasites on the smart and hard working
My best friend just pulled her Preschooler and Kindergartener out of a Wisconsin public school to homeschool them because the teacher read a book to the class called "Our Class is a Family." It's apparently a very popular book right now, and it's sowing the seeds of communism in children. He came home and argued with her about how his class was his family now. She then looked further into what they were teaching and found out that the counselor was going to be teaching about sexual education to her kindergartener without informing the parents!
She was so angry and tried emailing the school, but they did nothing of course and wrote her the most condescending email I've ever read. So she and her husband talked about it and they yanked him and his brother (preschooler) out the next week!
She said she is amazed at the change she has seen in him. She said he had started getting really sassy and argumentative (probably the influence of the other kids in class), but that has gone away and he is back to being her sweet boy.
I honestly think the one good thing about the pandemic has been how many people have woken up to what the schools are teaching their kids. Homeschooling/private schooling has increased at an insane rate because of all this. A lot of families were so busy they weren't even paying attention to what their kids were learning. It's really cool to see. I can also see a difference in a lot of families that I personally know. They seem to have grown a lot closer and are a much stronger unit. My husband and I don't have kids, but our relationship is stronger than it has ever been. The funny thing is this is the opposite of what the commies wanted to happen lol
I swear everything they try to do just blows up in their faces.
You shouldn't lump all teachers into one mold. Those screwed up people that keep making the headlines do not represent the majority of public education teachers. There are a lot of responsible, respectful and hardworking teachers that sincerely have students' best interests in the forefront of everything they do. And, most importantly, that do not buy into or support liberal political agendas or globalist mantra. MAGA & KAG
The entire system is designed to neutralize good teachers - it’s like being a good doctor in managed care - you can care as much as you want in 15 minute increments or with 45 kids in your class that get 30 seconds each of individual instruction
You must be living in a cucked state. I know teachers who've been doing it for years and they're still good teachers. Knowing the opposition is probably why. Still good teachers and the students flock to them because they're stable and hold values that are good.
I've got a relative teaching in Colorado, so I can agree with your sentiments. I've got another relative who will retire this coming spring. They are both good teachers who play the game without buying into the BS.
It's the unions. Anywhere you look since world war 2, unions are at the center of every problem we face as a society. They are also at the center of every treasonous and corrupt act we, either directly or indirectly through support roles

Declare war on the teacher’s union.
Teachers? No. They are indoctrinators.

This is one of the best descriptions of home school I’ve ever read.
If you weren’t forced into public education slavery then YOU KNOW what freedom looks like...

You’d be AMAZED how predictable this story is and how MANY people I’ve heard similar stories from.
We need to abandon being batteries and consumers and prioritize our KIDS!!!

I DO live in CUCKville = Colorado
good teachers are far and few in between and the really good ones are often stomped out like a grass fire given the first chance the admin gets.
If you survive in public education it’s because you are good at subverting their indoctrination centers
