If any of you don't recall the last post, i went for an employment drug screening and left with a Disorderly Conduct: Language charge. I called her a cunt when she wouldn't give me a urinalysis until i pulled the mask over my nose.. Just left the pre-trial conference. They offered me 3 years probation and 4 months in jail. Set it to trial. Apparently in America words are violence and just like Britain, you can be sent to jail for it. As it is a misdemeanor they have denied my request for a jury trial. Looks like this pedes getting a show trial by some leftwing activist judge before I am summarily imprisoned. Can't believe I fought for this country. Our rights are being litigated away while current military think they are fighting to protect them. Fuck these commie pieces of shit!! Carry on the fight without me boys! I'll be with you in spirit!!

What does the public defender say is the defense? Other legal pedes here might also consult pro Bono?
He didn't show today for my pre trial conference. :/ They wanted to postpone till Wednesday but I told them to just set it for trial in February because I damn sure wasn't taking the plea deal

I can't reemphasize what this guy is saying here enough. Public defenders are sometimes in cahoots with the system just to move things along or collect more "revenue". You need your own attorney that you have properly vetted.
You do realize that the First Amendment protects your right to free speech, right? That includes cussing and pissing people off. Regular speech doesn't need to be protected. The law that impedes free speech is unconstitutional. Stand your ground, pede.
Definitely consider getting a real lawyer if that's at all financially feasible for you. Incarceration (which I honestly think would be unlikely in this case but if it's up to a judge who fucking knows these days) would entail a loss of income that would far outstrip the likely cost and most private defense attorneys are going to look at your case (based on your description) and see an opportunity to make a quick buck for a day in court laughing at the prosecution and pleading not guilty.

I've worked in a few public defender's offices. All I gotta say is... Don't. These places, the offices I go to (Democrat city) are hives of liberal scum and diversity hires. It's on their walls and posters every where around.
Think about it, these people are the people who could get into (and pass) law school and your state bar, but no firm would hire them. They instead suckle at the government teat like the parasites they are, but they're not good enough for the government to give them the important job of working for the district and sending guys like you to jail.
Even the cheapest lawyer you can find will be better than your public defender. He missed your court date, right? That should tell you a lot.
