If any of you don't recall the last post, i went for an employment drug screening and left with a Disorderly Conduct: Language charge. I called her a cunt when she wouldn't give me a urinalysis until i pulled the mask over my nose.. Just left the pre-trial conference. They offered me 3 years probation and 4 months in jail. Set it to trial. Apparently in America words are violence and just like Britain, you can be sent to jail for it. As it is a misdemeanor they have denied my request for a jury trial. Looks like this pedes getting a show trial by some leftwing activist judge before I am summarily imprisoned. Can't believe I fought for this country. Our rights are being litigated away while current military think they are fighting to protect them. Fuck these commie pieces of shit!! Carry on the fight without me boys! I'll be with you in spirit!!

I can't reemphasize what this guy is saying here enough. Public defenders are sometimes in cahoots with the system just to move things along or collect more "revenue". You need your own attorney that you have properly vetted.
I cannot emphasize this more. I was walking by a gas station where a cop was sitting, nowhere near the pumps, literally on the sidewalk next to it and I was smoking a cigarette. Cop immediately runs over to me and before he even says what I was doing wrong told me to get against the wall and he had me frisked, then took my ID to run in. Too bad for him, I didn't have anything on me that was illegal, and my ID turned up clean because I'm not a criminal piece of shit. At this point I could tell he just needed a reason for illegally stopping and searching me (In my state that isn't allowed). He said I was smoking too close to gas pumps (I was at least 50 feet away). Now, this is a serious charge...it comes with a "endangering public well-being" charge and I was looking at a $1,500 fine and possibly 3 months in jail. My public defender says he can get the jail time off if I pay the $1,500 fine. I politely told him to fuck off, I want a trial, and I'll hire my own lawyer. First thing my hired lawyer does is requests the tapes from the gas station (It's not the greatest area so they have cameras everywhere), and a written statement from the officer explaining why he felt it necessary to search my body. Shockingly enough, less than a week later, the police department decides not to press any charges
TL;DR - If you think the public defenders aren't in bed with the court systems, then you haven't paying attention to the literature.
Jesus, this type of bullshit has got to stop. Honest citizens need an avenue to hold these awful police accountable that doesn't bankrupt them. Good lord, these stories piss me off so much.
It was just a money grab, and it was so blatantly obvious. The cop knew he fucked up so he made up some bogus charge, and the Judge and public defender just wants us to pay money so they can keep their jobs. My private attorney did cost me about $600, and that's way better than the $1,500 I would have spent, but good lord there's a LOT of people out there who could have been in my same situation that just don't have $600 for a REAL lawyer and they're the ones getting fucked over.
It just baffles me that when there's so much crime in/around the city I was in, that the cop had nothing better to do than harass a guy just walking down the street.
