What the fuck? I fucking hate word salads. So much harder to digest.

The first part of 2020 definition is true but I guess truth is now "racism". And the second part is just ideological. Of course they list white supremacy, but what about black supremacy, or literally any other supremacist ideology. Nah, they gotta hate on whitey.

The first definition IS ABSOLUTELY NOT true. I cannot stress that enough.

From its first use, "racism" meant the practice of discriminating based on race. If you thought some races were better than others, that was not racism. It was just your opinion.

The "evil of racism" is when employers wouldn't hire you despite your qualifications only because you were black, or you weren't allowed to enter a certain establishment because you were oriental, or you couldn't marry someone because if differing race.

Racism is about practice. It is not about personal opinion.

1828 Webster's: http://webstersdictionary1828.com/Dictionary/Race

RACE, noun [Latin radix and radius having the same original. This word coincides in origin with rod, ray, radiate, etc.]

  1. The lineage of a family, or continued series of descendants from a parent who is called the stock. A race is the series of descendants indefinitely. Thus all mankind are called the race of Adam; the Israelites are of the race of Abraham and Jacob. Thus we speak of a race of kings, the race of Clovis or Charlemagne; a race of nobles, etc.

They're not decimating the language. And saying so is literally a conspiracy.

Even the 1982 definition is incorrect. The actual definition is: "the belief that ones own race is inherently superior to others". Racism is a belief, not an action. You cannot be "racist against" something. The proper term for believing that a specific race is inferior is called "racialism".

Curious to know, where a good place to find old history books can be found to purchase. Is there an American company I can use?
