Slowly morph public opinion to view us as slime, morally repulsive, rats meant to be slaughtered. Thereby justifying any sort of harsh treatment towards us. When the guillotines and re-education centers open up they'll laugh as the government ships the "racists" towards them.
History repeats itself.
You're right, very true. Which is what makes the design of our country so great.
I'm buying my first gun for christmas this year, I can't wait
Start looking for/Buying Ammo now. It's harder and more expensive to acquire each passing day. 5.56 for the good stuff is damn near 2.00 a round right now. Up from like .49 cents just a few months ago.
I use https://www.wikiarms.com/ for a lot of things. May find it useful.
what do you think of the 300 Blackout as a gun I was recommended it today by a buddy. Its an " AR Pistol" meaning legally it can pass as a pistol but has the capacity of an AR for interstate travel
.223/5.56 ammo will be much easier to find in the short term
I've bought a few guns recently JUST for the availability of ammo. I'd rather have 1000 rounds of .22 than 50 rounds of 9mm...but that's just me. Bought a G40 Long Slide because not many people were willing to spend the money on 10mm at the time...but I bought it up because it was in abundance in my area anyways.
And it ain’t exactly easy
Shhhhh! If you go into the big box sporting goods stores, and local gun shops you can find 5.56 at reasonable prices (47 cents/rd). They had a big pile of 5.56 in 200 rd packs and Green tip in 20 rd pls the other day at my local big box.
22 ammo is still pretty cheap, death by a thousand cuts, not pretty, but still effective
I know many folks buying their first gun in 2020.
You are in good company.
Some of us have enough to hand some out when the time comes...
