Autist? Keep telling yourself that. If you don't care about access to your data when the cloud provider disappears or is compromised or you are locked out of it for a couple of weeks until you can "prove" your identity (looking directly at you, Microsoft), that's your prerogative. It happens a lot more often than most people hear about, famously in the case of Kimble Schmitz/KimTimJim/Kim Dotcom's mega-overhyped MegaUpload.

Password managers that store their database online are not magically immune to any of this. Nobody cares about local backups until something happens to them.

If you feel better with 20 to 30 random characters, again you do you.

Passphrases are much easier to remember and write down. Without special characters, the average time to crack for mine is 100 billion years. I believe that to be adequate. If you need 3 sextillion years to feel comfortable, that's fine with me.
