I don't care what you call yourself, conservative, republican, libertarian, populist bla bla bla. The fact of the matter is we are in this situation because we have let crazy people take control of the wheel for too long.

As people on the right we do not like government. We typically find any job we can outside of government and occasionally tune into what is going on when certain news hits the stage. What we are fighting is people who love government and they are seeking out any opportunity to be involved with it. This leads to more of them getting into positions of power and in turn voting for more of it those maintaining their love for government.

We need to go back to what government was meant for which is to be seen as a service. We may hate the government but that is exactly the reason why we should be involved in it. To ensure that it is kept in check. To ensure that the problem will not build up so much that we could be on the verge of a civil war to protect our very basic freedoms.

No matter what you can do, look into anything you can do with your local government. Anything from a poll watcher, city council, or basic volunteer work. The government always needs a vigilant eye. And we should be that eye.

I’m thinking of running to become a state congressman, I was appalled at how my neighbors and I were represented in the hearings. I’d have to find a source or financial backing, but if I do I plan on taking at least one RINO out of politics.

Finding funding would be difficult mainly because we dont know what we are doing in that arena. I would say go for it. Start with your local republican office and see what the process is needed to get that started.

Local GOP is useless, they’re largely responsible for us not having enough poll watchers this year in our state. There’s a few local businesses I can reach out to that would likely back me purely out of spite (my area hates our representative because of Covid).

That would be awesome to get some businesses to support you like that

I'd like to get involved with such. After this is over, we have to get state .wins, and find people to run, who are patriots. I don't see any way we can trust any current ppl.

Republicans like democrats are dead. There is only trump and communists.

I agree. It is why I said whatever people call themselves. The right in general has been asleep at the wheel too long.

I'm a mechanic, but I have been considering a career change. I can't get hired on with decent shops bc of my epilepsy and insurance liability. Might have to get in the dirtiest job of all, politics. Just keep working from home, til I get in there

We need regular people like yourself who have held a real job in their life to keep the government in check. We have enough lawyers and career politicians who have messed it all up.

Unless the fraud is fixed and mail in ballots are no longer a thing none of that will matter, they will ALWAYS be able to pick the winner.

And voting machines are banned completely.

VanishedPants [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Exactly, which is why we need to be way more involved. I'm sure there is a mountain more evidence that has never been gathered because we didn't have people watching them.

2
pharmacyman848 2 points ago +2 / -0

I hear ya but if they can execute this type of fraud, and then have already made sure to have the judges and secretaries of states in their pocket we are way behind. I agree getting involved would help but unless you’re getting involved in these insanely corrupt cities it’ll just continue to happen.

1
VanishedPants [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

You're right. It's really important for us to get involved in these cities. It's easy to get involved in a red area around people who agree with you. It takes a brave person to go where it is very blue and try and break that up. These corrupt judges and secretaries of state happen when we surrender those areas to these crazy people. Every front needs to be battled on to leave no room for corruption. It is very corrupt now and is going to be hard. But still have to try and if that fails...it's why our founders gave us the 2nd

Yup, but I think people don’t realize it took the communist decades to get to where they are in this country. Slowly take over the media and the colleges and then donate to politicians who would push their views. Then use the media and colleges to mold people’s viewpoints. We are well behind and Trump scared them because he was the one person who could expose and undo decades of work. So look what they did? They fucking made up lies about him, impeached him, turned a pretty manageable virus into the plague and then cheated him out of the election. Unless we wanna wait decades I think 2A is our only choice. This isn’t a grassroots effort we are up against, this is organized at every level of our culture and our government, this is having to undo brainwashing of entire generations of Americans. We have already lost many of our major cities and states to an enemy power who wants to dismantle America. We have to band together now or this country will fall. Hold the line has never been truer than it is now.

Definetly agree. It's why I get annoyed when people say they don't believe in things like boycotts and continue to give their money to organizations who actively hate them. Put your money where your beliefs are, put your time where your beliefs are. My post here is to say we need to be more involved and that is in the event that we are able to put trump rightfully into the presidency. If that doesn't happen then we have no choice but to excercise our 2nd. Trump is the last chance at a peaceful way to change the country. After that it is no quarter for communists who want to control every aspect of your life.

I think you are missing the point of the post. It's why I said whatever you want to call yourself. The point is people who are right leaning or another way to say it want less government involvement in their lives need to be more involved in their government or else we will keep getting people who love government to get higher and higher in power.

People on the right are too tribalistic because of a single word said. Bottom line if there are independents like yourself who want less government then I want you involved. If someone wants to call themselves a republican, populist, trumpist, conservative I don't care. As long as they are wanting less government and more power to the people. Be like trump and things will get better.

100% agree. Bush, mccain, romney were all uniparty nonsense. Trump has shown everyone how it is done. I look forward to all of the real people getting involved at all levels

This is our achilles heal.

Normal people, don’t want power.

We want to work on our careers, business, families.

There are a handful of conservatives willing to dedicate their lives or portions of then to public service.

Older patriots, even retirees are ideally suited for this work.

3
mintscape 3 points ago +3 / -0

Sure normal people just want to be left alone, problem is when you leave the system unchecked, it doesn't care about that and certainly will try and control more and more of your life.

The right are trusting people, they trust the system works as we are told but that is clearly wrong. Power always needs the people to keep it in check, power left unchecked will always head towards tyranny.

Now things are in a real mess, we are close getting to a point where we either allow a coup to happen or we start shooting people.

We outnumber the left but due to our not paying attention the left control so much and it is even praised to give hormone pills to kids.

It is not about wanting power, it is about keeping that power from becoming corrupted and losing the freedoms and way of life that many good men have died for.

I agree with everything you have said

2
Dieselslacker 2 points ago +2 / -0

You are so right, I'm ashamed of myself. I was a my vote doesn't count, I'm too busy, etc.....

I'll never miss working an election again, and I'm going to the next city council meeting. We have to get involved and be entrenched before the next elections. Got to walk the walk

2
VanishedPants [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

You are not alone. I think that is what alot of us have been, myself included. Trump winning proved to me that your vote actually can mean something.

Roger-Q-Patriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

Best way to accomplish this is to install term limits so we don't have career politicians in one position for decades. If they are worth a shit, they can run for the next higher office. We need to convene the Convention of States this next term. Enough states turned red and we can pull it off. Term limits for Congress, Senate, and SCOTUS. Balanced budget amendment. Make legislators subject to the laws they pass, including health insurance. Impose salary limits, etc. See https://conventionofstates.com/news/which-amendments-could-a-convention-of-states-propose

These all sound great. I would be in favor of all of them
