Cruz talks a good game, but he's not trustworthy. He back-stabbed the Tea Party in the 2014 mid-terms after posing as their champion, he ran for president when he was born in Canada and is not a natural born citizen. He attacked the Council on Foreign Relations in speeches, but neglected to mention his wife's five-year CFR term, where she was part of a group recommending a merger of the US, Mexico, and Canada. He sided with the leftists when they accused Trump of being responsible for the Soros-sponsored violence in Chicago during the primaries and he also used very dirty tricks on Ben Carson. He had long ties to the Bushes and hired Jeb's campaign team, including brother Neil, after Jeb dropped out. And there's a lot more.
Has he aligned with Trump policy?
We all should be wary of false idols. Cruz has to go further to prove himself.
I really am enjoying the apparent redemption arc though.

The fact that he's so despised by dems as well as neocons and boomercons cancels out most of that for me.
