In Texas if you vote in person you have to show ID... The problem is, is that you don't have to show ID to vote by mail. Thats a security issue. All people should be required to vote in person in my opinion.
German here. In all other countries it is normal procedure to show ID before being handed the paper to make your crosses on.
I always thought Americans are idiots to not have that. Even third world countries with analphabets are figuring out ways to mark voters, with ink for example, so they don't come back for a 2nd vote.
