The curfews are such a blatant powergrab. They cannot possibly reduce infection rates even if this was the most contagious virus ever, because the infections will happen when everybody is out at the same time. People out at night by themselves won't do anything.
It apparently is a night owl, that does most of its work after 10pm, thus the curfews in various areas.
