I live in Washington state and I decided fuck it, I'm flying to DC this weekend for the rally. It's now or never. I'm always telling people they need to go out and show support for the President and now I'm putting my money where my mouth is. We're going to stop this steal one way or another! Trump won and they are NOT going to take our vote away!

Recommendation: For anybody considering going to rallies or marches, rather than rely on your flimsy flag poles or sign poles, use bamboo. Bamboo is almost unbreakable and delivers a wicked blow. In so many videos I see patriots using store bought flag poles and they snap or get broken with the first hit. With bamboo you can pass through security checks for weapons (make sure there's some sort of banner or flag tied to it). When the shit hits the fan, you are prepared. Five to six feet is the optimum length.

Another pro tip. I see people swinging flag poles with the flag out at the end. The flag will catch the air and cause drag. Turn the pole around and hold it from the flag end. You'll get more force out of the swing.

Reminds me of an old Family Guy episode “Hit them with a bag of sweet Valencia Oranges...shows them who’s boss and doesn’t leave a bruise”. Lol

It's pretty common, some assholes use it for landscaping and then it turns into a forest of bamboo where they'd love you to take some away

Pretty sure he's talking about bamboo stakes, not live plants.

Where do you think you get bamboo stakes genius

Gardening stores.

They may have bamboo stakes and/or bamboo poles at Home Depot and/or Lowes (gardening section most likely), but I got mine at a locally-owned nursery.

I used mine for training grapevines onto a trellis system. 6-foot bamboo sticks that are about as thick as a tennis racquet handle.

Perfect! This is exactly what I'm talking about.

Have you ever tried to grow bamboo? It is the fastest growing plant I know of. Keep it watered. Some varieties can grow as much as 2 feet a day. You could plant on Monday and you would be ready for the rally by the weekend. I used to work at a hospital during the summer as a groundskeeper when I was going to college. We had bamboo growing there and I was shocked how fast it grew. It's illegal to plant in some places because it has a tendency to take over so quickly.

One last suggestion is at home improvement stores. A lot of them sell it for plant supports. Good luck and happy hunting!

I believe it takes years to establish before it starts growing like crazy.

I’m in northern Virginia and have a shit ton of bamboo. I’ll cut a bunch of it and bring it to dc in case anyone wants it.

Yes! I forgot to say this. Use both hands and thrust the end of it. It's almost impossible to block and it's a lot more accurate. Of course, when you go into rage mode, feel free to swing at any living thing clad mostly in black.
