He isn’t perfect, but Republicans really really underestimate how tough and how smart that guy is. Talk to him if you ever get a chance. He’s the smartest guy in the room wherever he goes. He’s exceptionally bright, to the point that he actually has to tone it down to try to be a little more relatable.
Ted also strikes me as more vengeful. I don’t think the people responsible would be walking around free if Ted ran for president, was elected, and found out he was spied on.
