I was there yesterday. Its so sad to see such a beautiful city going to shit. I lived there from 2003 to 2016. Moved to raise my kids away from the absolute shit liberal school system.
I will admit I love this overall surrounding area though. It's beautiful lots of great craft beer breweries one of which is in dripping springs which is based as hell and has been kinda my weekend escaped during the 'rona bs. I do like the area but I do want to move to a different county in the area at least. There are a lot of idiots here for sure but I'm starting to believe there's a lot of rigging in this county that's been going on for a while. The only reason I can tolerate it is because the state often overrules a lot of weird laws these people try to pass.
Edit: Luckily I don't have to raise kids here. If I did I'd either be homeschooling or id be trying to leave faster.
One thing I love about Texas is the amount of pride Texans gave in their state. I was born in Texas, but lived the majority of my adult life in California, where my family moved when I was young. When I decided it was time to move back to Texas I was surprised at how many houses had Texas flags, or Texas stars on them or in them. You don't see anything like this in California. Real Texans really love their state.
Tex❤s Strong! Tex❤s Proud! DON'T FUCK WITH TEX❤S. Just wanted to say I loooooovvvvveeeee my state ❤❤❤. Go get em Ted Cruz!!!!! Y'all have an amazing day!!!
I once got to see the Alamo and the 6th floor museum where Kennedy was shot though I hear that they now need to move it to the real location; the nearest CIA office.
Take your kids on road trips, see all the glorious historical sites America has.
Texans love Texas like Kanye loves Kanye.
Try to find a woman that looks at you the way Texans look at Texas
Better take care of the swamp in Austin
No kidding.... I don't even know how they would begin. Its almost too far gone at this point.
I live here and i figured they just need to blow it up and start over

I miss living in Texas. People were nice down there.

Hahaha TRUE
I visited Texas once (not counting times I was just in an airport). It was good. 10/10 would Texas again.
The proud state of Texas doesn’t bow for no one.
