It’s funny. I’m about as conservative as it gets. And my grandparents were as well down here in the south. Imagine that. Conservative. But registered Democrats. And in 1861 the democrats were conservative. Guess that would require an understanding of American history though.

Very true. That's why it took radical Republicans, with conviction, to kick in the door to the South, and get rid of the yoke of oppression.

Dude the party change bullshit has been debunked since debunked since debunked. It was the same dem party that formed the confederacy and started the civil war, that also added the confederate flags to all the southern states in the early - mid 1900's. You'd know that if you were anything remotely close to the "expert" you claim to be. GTFO retard. Back to Reddit with you.

Please try and educate me more on a subject I have decades studying. Please. Hahahahaha.

Siteless_Vagrant -1 points ago +1 / -2

Since your education on the subject is so expansive and impressive, why don't you enlighten as to how the the confederacy was founded by the Dems, in the mid 1860's, somewhere int here a change happened, and then the new Dems added the confederate flag to the states flags in the mid 1900's. Go ahead. Impress me.

Since you like to have my comments deleted. I’ll post it again. You lost all credibility when you can’t even get the dates right you dumb shit. Southern democrats were conservative. Northern democrats were not. Southern democrats have always been conservative. You clearly haven’t read a single thing from that time period. A letter? A newspaper? You are embarrassing yourself.

The Left: bUt ThE sIdEs SwItChEd!!!

Nah, they just moved up north to try and infect the northern states that kicked their ass, just like what's going on with CA and NY moving to TX and FL.

The Republican party was founded on a dual mission of ending slavery and polygamy. With the possible exception of Mitt Romney, the party has been very consistent on these issues

I have looked through my genealogy and confirmed at least 11 grandfathers who fought for the confederacy and I am proud of them.

too be fair, communism is still alive and well in the CCP.

edit: the Confederacy was fully defeated. and there is no chance the south will rise again looks over at Texas

Lets take a look at the CCP. The CCP is nationalist. Check. The CCP has the whole Han Chinese superiority thing going on. Check. The CCP controls private industry, and what they don't control they own. Check.

Now I know the term National Socialist has lost all meaning, but I think we've got a winner winner chicken dinner.

Edit: oups, i was so so wrong... original post is below so everyone can see what a moron I was. but no i dont think the CCP is National socialist./nazi. I think they are closer to marxism-leninism. (side note, whats the command for striking out text?)

(del) National Socialism is communism, its what Marxism–Leninism was all about. What the communist Internationals where about. Stalin was a huge National Socialist (though he did believe in Socialism in one nation rather then the whole world solution, well until he decided to attack Germany.) so its no wonder National socialist has lost all meaning, it never ment anything but communism. (del)

To be fair, they are winning and not losing

Both were failed leftist states. There's a lot of failed states on the left. I think pretty much all of them, actually.

3
NCSUrebelCSA 3 points ago +7 / -4

In what world do you think the Confederacy was leftist??? Haha. It was about the most conservative movement in American history with a response to abusive federal government. Not even a close comparison.

Don't waste your time with people who've never read about "The Tariff of Abominations". Their knowledge of the WBTS ended in grade school, if that.

Please educate me on something I’ve dedicated 30 years of my life on hahahaha. You won’t win that argument with me fucktard

1
NCSUrebelCSA 1 point ago +2 / -1

Guess you should get your facts straight haha. Jesus. I didn’t know there were so many people on here with masters in American history and 30 years experience on the subject in question!

-3
Siteless_Vagrant -3 points ago +1 / -4

This douchebag thinks it takes a 30 masters to look shit up in a book or the internet.

Let’s not lose focus on the task at hand pedes. We are all in this together to fight for America right now. However, for the sake of “this douchebag” you are arguing with. I would bet a paycheck that he knows more about the Civil War, the confederacy, and American history than you do. If you are using the internet to try and gather facts about the Civil War, you are well behind the 8 ball trying to argue someone who has devoted their life to the history of this war and now talks about it for a living.

Both were failed totalitarian states.
