When people say 'jews' they're lumping them all in together. There's just as much of a difference between and Orthodox or Hasidic shul or a Reform shul as there is between a serious Baptist church or a Unitarian church or a Catholic church.
Orthodox and Hasidic Jews don't even consider Reform or Messianic Jews to even be Jewish at all. Israel doesn't even give them right of return. That's like HALF of the 'Jews' in the USA.
You can't say, "All Christians..." anything because they're such a broad and diverse demographic. And it's the same for the Jewish people.
Hell, the differences between an Israeli or an American Conservative Jew are night and day.
