Allah is who we consider God the Father in the Trinity. They do not recognize Jesus as the second person of the Trinity because they do not recognize God as a Triune God. They are referencing the same God but in a different light. The reason Muslims have such a hard time with Christianity is they see God as Master and themselves as servants. Therefore the teachings of Islam are to be lived out as ordered which explains much about their behavior. We see God as Father who loves and has mercy on his children. This is a big leap for a Muslim to make.
