I'm conservative secularist, but I understand a person needs to be faithful to family, country, and cold beer.

Can you explain the conservative secularist thing to me? It would seem that you and I basically have similar (non)religious perspectives and perhaps we just use different terms for it...yours probably being a much more effective term, honestly.

I understand the difference between secularism and atheism, however, I'm just curious if you hold no religious belief or simply want it separate from politics.

Can you explain the conservative secularist thing to me?

(A) Don't believe in God (or a magical omniscient sky being, like in some Steven Spielberg movie)

(B) Vote conservative (small government, no to bonds, no to spending)

(C) Since you don't have an afterlife, people fucking with you and yours now is taking everything you have.

(D) Killing is an acceptable solution (⬅️ depends on the legality of self defense clauses in your locality).

(E) Marvin Heemeyer did nothing wrong.

I used to be a hard core atheist, and some days, I still am. I tried mushrooms and LSD when I was young and believe it or not, they made me believe in God, or at least something I can’t call anything but ‘God’. I don’t believe in the Christian God per say, but I think that most religions are all worshipping the same thing. They are just different interpretations/descriptions. Then trump came along and revealed the great evil that has befallen our country. It’s hard not to see the struggle between good vs. evil that is playing out right before our very eyes. I believe that God is a universal consciousness that reveals itself in various ways which is what has lead to the different religions. I believe things like mushroooms and LSD allow you to use your pineal gland more effectively (which is supposed to help Intuition which is why they poison the gland with fluoride but I digress...),and get a glimpse of the universal energy that courses through the universe. It’s very hard to describe. Almost like the force from star wars. I think this universal force/consciousness is God that all these religions have been trying to document, and I think that people are all small portions of “God’s” consciousness living life out, trying to solve the only thing this god doesn’t know. Where did he come from? Why does he exist? To me, that’s why the meaning of life has always been a big deal. The purpose of our lives is to solve the riddle of why he exists to begin with. Now down vote the insane ramblings of my lunatic mind. If this interests you though, Alex Jones and Joe Rogan did a great 4 hour show about it.
