Serious Question: If you could go deep into the mind of Gavin Newsom, what does he think he’s doing?
Part of me thinks he sees the world a certain way, and the lockdowns are gonna help him get it that way.
Everyone is all talking about the great reset, but his vision as simple as that, or does he have some other ideas.
It started with Obamacare, where vast numbers of people in CA were added to the MediCAL roles. Once they were introduced to the system, they were offered SNAP and other government handouts. These were meant to be safety nets, not a way of life. If you were a full time community college student, you qualified for both. This great expansion created the need for a union staff to support them, all funded by an infusion of federal money. Trump told CA to get its act together, allowed private businesses to expand and hire workers. This doesn’t pay for the union pensions.
Shutting down the CA economy throws people into that safety net, which is more of a spider web, in hopes they can’t get out. More federal dollars flowing to California to fund the greatly expanded union staff that supports the unemployed.
