If we must secede to know Freedom perhaps we will, but not under that rag, it will be under our Texas Flag.
We are one of a very few States which could successfully secede, too. We have the resources and economy to be independent, we have ports and universities, we have food and water, we have power and our own grid which is, or was, only connected to the rest of the States via two easily switched lines. We export power, energy, food, resources, have a world class med center and technology, even Space facilities.
That isn't our goal tho - we want the rest of the country to fix their own places up instead, restore the Republic as a Nation under God.
For we will defend God down here, except maybe in Austin. But we love Austin anyhow, warts and all we love our Texas.
