Black mail and threats to destroy a person and/or anyone one they love if they dont toe the line are REAL threats. I choose to pray for those trapped in the evil corrupt system rather than hate them. I try to encourage bravery rather than berating cowardice. I try to personally model courage to inspire those I encounter. Such an approach has always been most effective when used with me. Perhaps others have found being hated is more persuasive.
