You may be on to something... If fraud reveals that POTUS actually got enough votes to beat Biden twice, then can POTUS serve two terms concurrently, with DOUBLE PRESIDENT POWER?

  • The President can now veto a bill that has not yet even been brought to a vote in the House or Senate

  • It only requires 25 Senators to confirm the President's appointments

  • It requires 134 Senators to override the President's veto or executive orders

  • The President can snap his fingers like Castro and a helicopter drone will immediately "take [his target] for a ride."

  • Three Scoops

  • Increased national cucumber production

Overbloating of bills and tacking on totally unrelated shit like pay raises needs to end. One bill, one law, one issue. Just go ahead and declare paperclips and staplers as illegal contraband at the capitol building.

2
Pickinpox 2 points ago +2 / -0

Exactly right. Here in Wa we the peeps have voted to have a flat rate of $30 tabs for vehicles multiple times and it gets rejected because there is more than one issue in the bill. We even had it for a limited time before it was illegally taken from us. Totally legit to charge you $150 for tabs annually on that old pickup you use for dump runs. Lick da ballz

7
Anubis1 7 points ago +7 / -0

An aid bill should be required to only give money to one thing per bill. Yes that means there will have to be way more bills and way more time to vote, but that's better than spending a long time doing nothing.

6
FireannDireach 6 points ago +7 / -1

Line item veto. Reagan and Clinton both asked for it, but the SCOTUS said that it had to be done as a Constitutional Amendment, and it was dropped for the most part after that.

7
Trudict 7 points ago +7 / -0

I don't like that personally.

Some bills are only good if they're "whole". To be able to veto line by line my very well defeat the entire purpose of some bills and just be rife for abuse.

Let's say for example, we had a Republican House/Senate, and a Dem President. They make a voter ID bill with effectively three lines: " All US citizens must have a voter ID", "Voter ID will be provided for free to all Citizens once every 5 years", and then the concession made for Democrats to also be on board in the house/senate was: "Universal mail in ballots".

That bill passes and the Dem president vetos the "must have voter ID part".

Well now you have a bill that just allows mail in voting and does nothing else.

Lifetime presidency, like a SCOTUS Justices.

But since Dims cheated in multiple States, Trump can pass on the presidency to his first born son.

He can definitely shitpost in his father's shoes--that means he passes my first test. A few more years studying Dad as he cleans house and Jr. may in fact be ready for the big chair. But I'd like to see him hold a few other government jobs first. At least one term as a Senator or Representative, maybe: one of the big ones with big responsibilities and big liabilities.

Hope other states join in the meantime.

2
NotDangerousGame 2 points ago +2 / -0

I think ridz is referring to the states named in the lawsuits, who are saying throwing out the fraudulent elections disenfranchises their own voters while ignoring the disenfranchised voters from other states.

I don't think he's saying Texas is ignoring disenfranchised voters in other states who have not brought legal action.

2
Miasmo 2 points ago +2 / -0

Real close to the beginning. It's a good read.

14
FireannDireach 14 points ago +14 / -0

It does. This is a case Rudy could never bring, and it's just as powerful - if not more powerful, than the case for citizen Trump being denied a fair win. Which is pretty damn powerful.

I'm still kind of in shock that Texas did this. This changes everything - IF the SCOTUS hears it. I'm not a Constitutional lawyer, so I don't know if the SCOTUS could pass this one up, considering the content of the motion. A state AG and his staff suing is a big fucking deal.

8
huskardc 8 points ago +8 / -0

I don't see how SCOTUS ignors this one. It's a State suing other States. The only court that has jurisdiction will be SCOTUS.

5
JohnCocktoastin 5 points ago +5 / -0

State vs State is SCOTUS original jurisdiction. There is some discretion, but it seems almost impossible to imagine they would decline a case of this magnitude. Typically, in these cases, SCOTUS will appoint a special "master" to hear arguments and briefs and then treat the case more like an appeal. The "master" will do fact finding, but SCOTUS does not have the same deference to these findings as they would give to the facts on an appeal. They do not have to follow this procedure. It is up to SCOTUS what SCOTUS does here.

If SCOTUS Says the Republic no longer exists, Texas invokes its Constitutional secession rights in 3...2....1....

17
Vadernocturnus 17 points ago +17 / -0

If I was a judge....

"So what you are saying The State of Texas will never accept another election as free and fair again under The United States?"

The response would be really. fucking. intriguing.

13
AdmrlNelson 13 points ago +13 / -0 (edited)

Well AFAIK Texas is the only state that has a way to legally sucede from the union in our constitution, because we were a republic before joining the union. (It's incredibly difficult to get the votes to do, but there's a legal path there)

Interestingly, Texas is on a separate power grid from the rest of the country, produces more power than it consumes, and has seaports.

13
Doth 13 points ago +13 / -0

2
ColbyP 2 points ago +2 / -0

It definitely makes it worse for them. It can be pointed to as yet another example of one of the branches of government overstepping and breaking the law. SCOTUS said you must do this thing, and they chose to do the opposite. It shows that they were willfully ignoring laws to get what they wanted.

11
Friendly_B 11 points ago +11 / -0

This one trick makes Trump supporters so mad. Click to find out more.

13
Xanisor 13 points ago +13 / -0
  1. Defendant States also failed to segregate ballots in a manner that would permit accurate analysis to determine which ballots were cast in conformity with the legislatively set rules and which were not. This is especially true of the mail-in ballots in these States. By waiving, lowering, and otherwise failing to follow the state statutory requirements for signature validation and other processes for ballot security, the entire body of such ballots is now constitutionally suspect and may not be legitimately used to determine allocation of the Defendant States’ presidential electors.

That's part of the complaint.

So what do you think SCOTUS will make of this?

Because at this point one thing we’ve learned is that bringing a lawsuit to court is nothing to get excited about. It’s what the judge(s) have to say about it that matters.

We’re about to find out if SCOTUS is still an American institution.

9
basedBlumpkin 9 points ago +9 / -0

We’re about to find out if SCOTUS is still an American institution.

DON'T CALIFORNIA TEXAS!

246
Katfish29 [S] 246 points ago +249 / -3

Being a native Californian, every person I know that fled the state to Texas were ALL staunch conservatives... its mostly red counties in CA that are losing the residents. Sucks for CA, but its great for the states they flee to.

128
Teach4Trump 128 points ago +128 / -0

Kern, San Bernandino, Fresno, Tulare, Orange (kind of) are all losing residents because the state is making it unlivable to be a conservative. My Significant other and I are both Californians moving to Tennessee 1, so we can buy property, and 2 so we can enjoy our lives without government impeding 25/8

53
America1776 53 points ago +53 / -0

Orange is definitely bleeding residents. I know many that have and are leaving for TX and ID. The weather is great but cost of living is ridiculous and traffic is shit. Add the CA laws, regulations and policies into the mix and it is just not worth it to many people.

60
live_free 60 points ago +61 / -1

We’re heading to Idaho after 37 years born and raised in SoCal. 2020 was the last straw. This state is too far gone, does not uphold the rule of law, yet lets the Governor and health officials ruin livelihoods with unconstitutional edicts.

Question from a Florida resident, how is living in California made unlivable

30
Teach4Trump 30 points ago +30 / -0

If I didn't rent a room from a family I met through church, the city I live in has an average income of 250,000 per year with and Average home price of 2.5 million. The taxes are absolutely insane, bordering on the levels of Connecticut or Mass. Also, being a teacher in California is truly a crime, as teachers are merely operatives in an indoctrination campaign.

14
educatedandfree 14 points ago +14 / -0

I am a teacher in Cali. We are criminally stupid as a group. The law, bought by the union, shields us from 99.9% of the things that would be criminal elsewhere, especially the complete failure to hold children to any historical educational standard.

3
Teach4Trump 3 points ago +3 / -0

Ah fellow educator! I am currently working on my masters of ed so that I can leave this state with a higher salary elsewhere. The only reason I wanted my credential to be from California in the first place is so that it is accepted so widely everywhere else

2
Thep1mp 2 points ago +2 / -0 (edited)

Consider that it could also be a negative. I’m involved in hiring and firing and I’m very careful about people from liberal states or with degrees from liberal colleges. I live in a very conservative area and liberals aren’t very good for team cohesion. Around here a teaching degree from California would raise red flags, unwarranted or not.

She’s way busy teaching online, grading, and rec letters right now... barely have time to connect at the end of the “workday” as it is.

RedditSucks 1 point ago +1 / -0

Be aware, CA teacher salaries are high, but not relative to the cost of living. You may make fewer or the same dollars elsewhere, but it will go way the fuck further. I'm sure you know that though.

Also, take ALL CalPers or CalSTRS $$ with you when you leave. Roll it into a 401k or an IRA - that pension system will fold and you will be left with pennies on the $ if anything at all.

Wife was a teacher, we took everything and left. Fuck that shithole.

As someone who spent an 11 year sentence in CA before moving to FL, I can give you some direct comparisons to provide clarity. TL;DR first - You pay for the whole menu in CA, in FL you pay a la carte. The public employee unions run Sacramento and it doesn't matter if you are R or D, if you do anything against them, they will spend you out of office immediately. Public employee unions are just operations that launder taxpayer dollars (via union dues and other things) into the pockets of liberal politicians.

Car registration in CA: $430/yr Same car in FL: $85

Drivers license in CA: 9 weeks by mail In FL: Real ID printed on the spot

House in FL was 60% more sq. ft. for 1/3 the cost of CA

Property taxes in FL (including CDD): within $500 (higher rate in FL, real dollars almost the same)

Guns: Lost in a boating accident on way to CA Miraculously recovered and quickly obtained CCW in FL

There is a 3 year cycle in CA where they threaten to fire teachers, then Police, and then firefighters. The tax increases are to pay operating costs and salaries because the pension funds are a fucking disaster. A plunging market will destroy the state of CA and they will have hands out screaming for bailouts. Beware the next recession.

State income taxes in CA: 13% State income taxes in FL: 0% - YUGE raise

Cops in CA do not respond to crimes. If you call and say someone has broken into your home they'll ask if they are still inside. If not, they tell you to come to the station to file a report. If they are inside, they'll be there in an hour. CA cops are perfect at revenue generation. Sitting at the bottom of a mountain/hill hidden on the side of a freeway waiting for someone doing 7 mph over? All over that. Miss your parking meter by 3 minutes, ticket already on your window. Policing is about generating revenue, not public safety in CA.

You pay fees and taxes on everything all the time in CA, in FL is usually a use tax/fee. Don't want to pay, don't use the park, or service and you won't pay for it.

Homeless in CA: fucking everywhere, can't get away from them In FL (at least Tampa area): much less of a problem - rarely seen

It goes on and on and on. CA has great weather and is gorgeous, but literally everything else sucks. Its a case of boiling the Frog there. I didn't realize how bad it had gotten until I left and came back a year later. Then it hit me how much has changed in the time I was there, and I hadn't noticed. Now, during Santa Ana wind events they are turning people's power off. During a Santa Ana event the temps are between 100 and 110 (many times higher) in population areas. They just turn your power/AC off now because the infrastructure is so bad, the power lines "cause fires". It continues to plummet, that's why people are leaving.

I'll never forget, about a month after I moved to FL I said to my wife, "I'm so glad we moved back to the USA". Fuck CA, and fuck those people that voted themselves into that mess that move elsewhere and start voting to fuck those places up too. Arrogant narcissistic cocksuckers.

live_free 25 points ago +25 / -0 (edited)

We have some of the highest taxes in the nation, yet have crumbling infrastructure. Our roads suck, our power grid regularly fails or is shut down due to fear of fire. You can’t do anything without a permit. We have single party rule, the State passes whatever legislation they like without any real debate. We do not enforce laws: illegal immigration, homelessness, rioting and vandalism all go unchecked. Meanwhile, law abiding citizens who are just trying to survive are persecuted by unconstitutional state and county health orders. The State is closing in on medical freedom, education freedom. They do not want you in charge of your own family. I could go on.

EDIT: I will go on Constant erosion of 2A rights Easing penalties on criminals, INCLUDING pedophiles Cramming LGBTQA+WTF agenda down our collective throats

Katfish29 [S] 16 points ago +17 / -1

Cost of housing, cost of gas, cost of rent, state taxes that approach 13%. Unbelievable regulations, registration for vehicles is over 200 a year. Cost of food, cost of electricity, its bonkers. In thd summer here, a normal home running an AC to keep the home at 78-80 a month is 340-400 a month. CA is total shit because of all the fees and regulations.

$430 for an explorer registration in CA, same vehicle in FL was $85. See my other post detailing the real #s. CA is insane. Its either rich people or poor people. There are no middle class people.

Studies tend to show it's conservatives that are moving to Texas.

Conservatives don't like to hear it, but a major chunk of the erosion of the right is middle-class white women.

Karens are the biggest BLM supporters, the most woke demographic.

Texas lost a lot with white women, but gained with Hispanics, and African-Americans. Kinda hilarious.

34
BasedRedPillZeus 34 points ago +36 / -2 (edited)

So here is the plan:

-Tell white women being a housewife is oppressive, but working for a big corporation is empowering.

-Tell them they can spend 25 years fucking around and then marry Mr. Perfect at age 39 and live happily ever after, i.e. the Sex in the City Big Lie.

-Ensure that smart white women in particular are the most likely to remove themselves from the gene pool in order to feed the System.

-Pump up their egos to unbearable levels, reward all their bad behavior, make divorce rape + false accusations par for the course so that the well is poisoned. Meanwhile, other races are allowed to beat women for real because "That's part of their culture".

-Make sure every mixed race couple on TV is black male + white female or vise versa.  Make sure every white male on TV is either a beta, a loser or a creep, and every black male is an alpha.

-Use the welfare state as a selective breeding program for Idiocracy.  Encourage women to effectively cuck all responsible taxpaying men. Reward all forms of degeneracy and short-term thinking.

-Complain that men aren't contributing anymore and we need to let in millions of Somali rocket scientists to prop up the economy.

-Put soy estrogen, aluminum, fluoride, and Bisphenol A in everything so that men become gay or trans while producing a population of docile, feckless and agreeable “men” who are easy to control.

-Set up this strange political alliance: Feminists + radical Muslims + Jewish billionaires + the Vatican + trannies.  What do they all have in common? Hatred of the White Man, love of Big Government, and obsession with children's genitals!

-Promise that magic skittle-shitting rainbow-socialist unicorns will save the world if the entire third world invades the West and votes for free shit off the White Man's back.

-Feed Africa until it's more than half of the world's population and use them as an endless source of refugees, Commie votes, social degradation, Idiocracy etc.

The end goal is bifrcation of humanity into two species:  A tiny sociopathic elite lording over a permanent underclass of human livestock, with less than half the IQ of the elites.  Most people will live in a hellish global favela where everyone fights each other for scraps, and nobody will be smart enough to even figure out who the real enemy is, let alone organize against them.  Meanwhile, the elite will live in opulence — fucking children, snacking on pineal glands, and ingesting Adrenochrome until the end of time.

I am a native Californian and I moved to a "blue" region of Texas for work, but also to help keep it red. California is a geographically beautiful place, but the commies ruined it years ago. I will never live there again.

Texas is fucking awesome and should be kept that way. It is unlike any other place I've ever lived.

8
DibbleDibbleDibble 8 points ago +8 / -0

I grew up in Cali until my early teens, and visited it a while back before my folks moved away from it. It is so beautiful, some of the prettiest country in the USA - but I would never, ever, in a million years move back unless there were drastic changes. There are plenty of other beautiful places that are far more based where I can raise a family safely.

I'm in Texas and honestly I want to move somewhere else - or at least out of the area I'm in. The big cities of Texas are awful. I want to move back west, or at the very least farther west in Texas because I'm tired of the swamp, both literal and metaphorical.

I am very proud of what our state is doing right now though. God bless Texas, indeed.

9
magastrophysicist 9 points ago +9 / -0

Big cities anywhere suck. We live on the outskirts of a smaller town, but near to some big cities. I just want to move onto a big piece of a land with a modest house with my wife and chickens and future children.

I miss the mountains, and my job here is temporary so we will be moving soon, but this place will always have a special place deep in my heart.

3
TheWiseBuffalo 3 points ago +3 / -0

Big cities anywhere suck

Really all they got going for them is food diversity and I don't need to live in it to experience it. Other than that you're just paying a shit load more for less.

I long till I able to live in a small based town with property.

3
Neogeo 3 points ago +3 / -0

Their only purpose is honestly to consolidate white collar workers for office jobs. With everything leaning remote now I expect to see a huge surge in people moving from the expensive cities to cheaper rural areas.

1
TheWiseBuffalo 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ya that’s the hope which shouldn’t be to much since I’m a dev and my company has been hiring remote workers all over the country.

2
magastrophysicist 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep. You can always learn to cook good food yourself. My wife and I cook all sorts of amazing stuff at home. It's cheaper too. And almost always better if you do it correctly.

Can't wait to have more money and the ability to buy some land. It'll do wonders for us.

4
TheWiseBuffalo 4 points ago +4 / -0

I've had both this week, they're both good. In&Out is often called overrated, which is fair. Their burgers are not the best out there. But it's a very good value for fresh ingredients and a consistent burger and their fries are some people's idea of "just right", and the hidden menu items and options are probably what keep people coming back long term.

I was at a smaller one near Giddings last week. My husband and I weren’t wearing masks and this lady approached him and asked if anyone said anything to us when we walked in. He was like no, they aren’t going to say anything. Then we got to talking to her for a while about how all this is bullshit. She was still wearing her mask and I told her to take it off and reclaim her freedom. She was based, so hopefully we gave her courage to stop wearing it.

Then a couple days later we were at a large one outside of Houston on 290. It was packed and I only saw one other person without a mask. Still, no one said anything to us.

I can only hope this was the result of fraud, but I don't know. Austin is leaking shit from its commie diaper in all directions.

8
POed_Texan 8 points ago +8 / -0 (edited)

I am in Williamson and I assure you I am chasing down the people I need to in order to ask for an audit of those machines. All Republicans down ballot won but for Trump and our Sheriff (who was under indictment.)

290,168 total votes for president 283,908 total votes for Senator (highest number voters for a seat down ballot) Trump got fewer total votes than Cornyn.

That is 6260 ballots that only voted for the President.

Williamson went blue by 4066 votes for Biden over Trump.

HMMM...... I don't believe it.

https://apps.wilco.org/elections/results/default.aspx

2
booblitchutz 2 points ago +2 / -0

Looking at the results for Hays, I don't see the same fuckery:

https://hayscountytx.com/download/departments/elections/results/2020/nov_03_general/Cumulative-Results-Nov-2020-General-official-PDF.pdf

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that certain precincts within Hays had some stuffed ballots though. Like San Marcos, Kyle...

2
Cyer6 2 points ago +2 / -0

Also in Wilco and was kinda shocked to see that this year.

2
Animator 2 points ago +2 / -0

The same thing happened in districts in Orange County just before I moved. Districts that had been red for decades and decades all suddenly went blue. I thought, this can't be right and had suspicions they might have cheated. But now in light of everything that's happened I'm convinced they definitely cheated.

I'm in Williamson, too. Those numbers do look very suspect.

4
Animator 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yeah, I'm in Wilco. My heart sank when I starting seeing all these Biden signs pop up. Supposedly this was one of the more conservative areas near Austin so I was pretty disappointed.

I actually got in a debate with a City Council candidate over her completely unscientific and fact-free support of mask mandates. She was totally uninformed, yet fine with using the government to infringe rights.

Heather Jefts. She was elected unfortunately.

1
booblitchutz 1 point ago +1 / -0

To see Williamson go blue was sad. Williamson and Hays.

Both have definitely been infected with people fleeing Austin and their commie bullshit, but then moving to suburbs and voting for the SAME commie bullshit they fled in Austin.

3
Animator 3 points ago +3 / -0

I will never understand that. To not be able to make the connection between cause and effect. "This place is run by Dems and has gotten consistently worse every year. This conservative place is nice, we'll go there... and continue voting Democrat." They really aren't a very bright group of people.

Amnesty was Reagan's poison pill to CA. It went blue overnight and never went back. Dems rose to permanent power and CA has steadily declined ever since.

Reagan is the OG RINO, change my mind.

1
Doth 1 point ago +1 / -0

Having 3-odd million Democrats injected into the state at once permanently overturned the will of California conservatives. I can't believe anyone celebrates Ronald Reagan, the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 permanently gave Democrats upward of 20.3% of the 270 electoral votes they need to elect a President. For. Free. Plus the vaccine thing!

We should get ALL of our AGs, particularly in red states to get a filing done TODAY, as today is the safe-harbor deadline... whatever that really means?

Looking for my state's contact info NAOW!

128
Vivadiscordia 128 points ago +129 / -1 (edited)

Floridians, start calling and emailing ASAP! We want Florida to join this lawsuit. Same goes for every other red state.

Here is a link to the contact info for the office of Governor DeSantis. Call and email, asking the governor to urge the AG to join the lawsuit.

33
dunebuggy 33 points ago +33 / -0

I called, left a voicemail. I also sent an email. In my email I wrote:

Dear Governor Desantis,

Please consider directing your AG of Florida to join the lawsuit with Texas to SCOTUS suing GA PA MI WI.

https://www.scribd.com/document/487348469/TX-v-State-Motion-2020-12-07-FINAL

The American people need to see states use their legal authority to defend and represent the legal votes for Trump in the 2020 election. 5,668,731 Floridians voted for Trump in this election, please be their voice and yield your power to represent them. Surveys have shown that the majority of Republican voters believe there was vote supression and manipulation. With these states not allowing audits, what are they trying to hide? These states are stealing our votes from us in the state of Florida.

The Supreme Court must preserve their integrity by ruling for Trump. But it is up to us to see to it that they are put in that position. This requires Governors of good will to take action.

Sincerely,

DuneBuggy

safe harbor is just more Commie bs to deny us our Constitutional rights. You won't find it anywhere in the Constitution, that's for sure.

13
frogwithbreasts 13 points ago +17 / -4

I don't disagree that the safe-harbor deadline is largely irrelevant to our legal battles ahead.

...But are you seriously suggesting that the Electoral Count Act (federal law that establishes the safe-harbor date) is somehow a work of communist actors? It was passed by a GOP senate and a Dem house in 1887...

4
kag-2020- 4 points ago +7 / -3

Seems reasonable. Two decades later our Republic was lost to them. Seems like a first step.

-2
frogwithbreasts -2 points ago +1 / -3

Hmm, I haven't heard this angle. How was our Republic lost in 1907 (or thereabouts)? I've heard some people say this about the New Deal, but that wouldn't exist for nearly three decades.

10
kag-2020- 10 points ago +10 / -0

Theodore was the Trump of the 20th century. The Communist establishment was stacked against him and once they ousted him they cemented their rule with the Federal Reserve 16th and 17th Amendments.

It obviously means the federation is on the line if states themselves feel the need to protect their rights. Why should they respect the outcome of presidential elections when other states violate their own constitutions for the gain of one candidate to the detriment of other states that maintained fair elections.

They're suing the states with the most evidence, makes for a stronger case. AZ and NV still have their own lawsuits going on.

17
Fabian 17 points ago +17 / -0

The lawsuit from Texas is NOT about voter fraud. These four states were the only ones violating their own constitutions. Voter fraud is on top of that all (in more than these four states, like in AZ and NV). And the Dominion fraud comes on top of that in 28 states or something.

Like u/fishyPussy said:

Not sure about AZ but NV isn’t included because they did it through their state legislatures correctly. Not saying their voter rolls were clean (they weren’t) but they did it through the legislatures Acc to Robert Barnes.

NC_patriot 79 points ago +80 / -1

BILL OF COMPLAINT Our Country stands at an important crossroads. Either the Constitution matters and must be followed, even when some officials consider it inconvenient or out of date, or it is simply a piece of parchment on display at the National Archives. We ask the Court to choose the former. Lawful elections are at the heart of our constitutional democracy. The public, and indeed the candidates themselves, have a compelling interest in ensuring that the selection of a President—any President—is legitimate. If that trust is lost, the American Experiment will founder. A dark cloud hangs over the 2020 Presidential election. Here is what we know. Using the COVID-19 pandemic as a justification, government officials in the defendant states of Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (collectively, “Defendant States”), usurped their legislatures’ authority and unconstitutionally revised their state’s election statutes. They accomplished these statutory revisions through executive fiat or friendly lawsuits, thereby weakening ballot integrity. Finally, these same government officials flooded the Defendant States with millions of ballots to be sent through the mails, or placed in drop boxes, with little or no chain of custody1 and, at the same time, weakened the strongest security measures protecting the integrity of the vote—signature verification and witness requirements. Presently, evidence of material illegality in the 2020 general elections held in Defendant States grows daily. And, to be sure, the two presidential candidates who have garnered the most votes have an interest in assuming the duties of the Office of President without a taint of impropriety threatening the perceived legitimacy of their election. However, 3 U.S.C. § 7 requires that presidential electors be appointed on December 14, 2020. That deadline, however, should not cement a potentially illegitimate election result in the middle of this storm—a storm that is of the Defendant States’ own making by virtue of their own unconstitutional actions. This Court is the only forum that can delay the deadline for the appointment of presidential electors under 3 U.S.C. §§ 5, 7. To safeguard public legitimacy at this unprecedented moment and restore public trust in the presidential election, this Court should extend the December 14, 2020 deadline for Defendant States’ certification of presidential electors to allow these investigations to be completed. Should one of the two leading candidates receive an absolute majority of the presidential electors’ votes to be cast on December 14, this would finalize the selection of our President. The only date that is mandated under the Constitution, however, is January 20, 2021. U.S. CONST. amend. XX. Against that background, the State of Texas (“Plaintiff State”) brings this action against Defendant States based on the following allegations:

28
Oback_Barama 28 points ago +29 / -1

This seems pretty reasonable to me. It isn't asking to flip electors, but instead to delay the Dec 14th deadline on appointing electors until the mess is resolved in these 4 states.

If the SCOTUS picks this up, it is fairly reasonable for them to grant this request.

The real home run would be if they dictate HOW the mess is to be resolved, either by granting the legislatures of these states the ability to directly appoint electors, or by prescribing that only LEGAL votes cast under the law BEFORE the COVID executive and court orders removed safe guards for voters.

24
NoTimeToBleed 24 points ago +25 / -1

I somehow doubt these states that have been destroying and concealing evidence for the past month would somehow be able to even identify legal votes cast legally. The house of representatives will have to resolve this.

2
williammcfadden 2 points ago +2 / -0

Every other AG in every other state that had clean, transparent and legal voting that followed their own laws needs to get on board with this docket.

The states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia and Wisconsin are disenfranchising the legal votes at the federal level for President which is the violation of the equal protection clause in the Constitution.

This is how we are going to win. The left is going to lose their minds and I am going to laugh my ass off.

5 states fucked up really bad and ignored their own constitution, they let people who shouldn't be in charge make the rules and gave preferential treatment to areas with higher democrat populations.

All of the things they did went against the US constutution, and therefore disenfranchised our voters and just generally pissed everyone off.

Throw out those votes and lets move on - the legal way.

.... That's my understanding. I won't be offended if anyone corrects me.

17
Mr_clark 17 points ago +17 / -0

Really, I just hope this results in a new template for elections. Coming from a tech background, if I were to design an election process, the very first thing I would do is set requirements and rules for who is ineligible to vote (dead, minors, felons, AND NON-CITIZENS). Then I would constantly check and update those databases. Next I cross reference people that have residences in multiple states. If the SCOTUS could give us guidance and allow us to have something that states cannot infringe on, that would make a huge difference.
