My friend from russia told me they would openly throw bananas on soccer fields if black players were playing and they would laugh and be amused if a black person spoke Russian, because they thought they wouldn’t be capable of learning their language. So there’s definitely Russians out there that are supremacists lol my family also comes from Eastern Europe and I can attest that blacks are a rare population there. People would pull their phones out and take sneaky pictures because it’s so rare to see a black person there lol the word we use for black people is černoch which literally translates to black leg. I believe in Russian it’s similar.
