I used to love "the Professional" until I watched the directors cut. It actually made me feel TERRIBLE. I had endorsed this film to everyone. People knew it was one of my fav films. The cut that made it in US cinemas was innocent

The directors cut got into this WEIRD bonnie and clyde relationship where Leon fell in love with a 12 yr old matilda and there were extremely disturbing pedophiliac implications in it. There was a scene that was almost sexual and def erotic

This made me very uncomfortable watching the directors cut and then it made me angry. Basiclaly this new cut RUINED THE FILM

This is what they were willing to show us

What do you think happened to 12 yr old Natalie portman OFF CAMERA? Or what didn't make the cut?

That french director is a pedophile

The theme shows up over and over and over in his films

If you didnt see all of the flags in the original you definately weren't paying attention. Personally i liked Leo's relationship with his boss but, I'm a huge Danny Aiello fan.

Whenever I see Aiello, I can only think of his over the top performance in Once Upon A Time In America playing a character, curiously named Aiello. Why did they use his real name!? Why is he so goofy!?

This was one of my favorite movies as a kid. I watched it recently with my wife and was absolutely disgusted. She said “this your favorite movie....?”

What's in the Director's Cut? I saw this in the theater and people felt there was creep factor even back then. I loved it only for Gary Oldman's performance.
