And obviously mail in ballots that arrived a week before election day are counted after everything else. I was told this by CNN therefore it is an uncontested truth.
Yea this is the most retarded thing. ANY vote by mail (absentee included) should be counted ahead of any other counting period. But I think we should just remove any vote by mail in general.
States have different laws. Some can't touch them till election day. So they sit and wait. But I don't have a problem with counting after election day. It's better anyway because then there are no "pre election" totals. I only have issues with illegal votes. Either before election, during, or after.
Well the issue is that if you count them before they have no idea how many fraudulent ballots they may need. When you count them after all of the in person votes it leaves them with a tally that won't change.
Then if your state requires waiting to start doing stuff with mail in ballots, try to lobby for change before the next election. I don't disagree with you. Actually I'll take it a step further. No mail in ever. In person, photo ID (a free voter ID, I'd be happy to fund that as a taxpayer). Military, nursing home exceptions. That's it. One day.
