Democrats look at any disparity between races as proof of discrimination. Blacks don't vote as much as other races, so it 'must' be because of racism. Then they pass legislation to 'correct' the 'racism' by putting ballot harvesters specifically into black neighborhoods and corrupt stuff like that.

This brief is saying that you can't just say 'racism' and then the Voting Rights Act will let you get away with breaking the law.

It's relevant today because the Democrats say if the Supremes throw out Detroit and Philadelphia's obviously fake results that's 'racism' against black communities and worse than allowing outright fraud and cheating.

Plus the petitioners in this case have Consovoy arguing it, who is one of the best election/voting lawyers in the country.

He's also the guy suing universities for their affirmative action policies being racist against asians (and whites).

Rick Scott of Florida and Mitch McConnell also signed on as amici to this case!

I think from this point forward we will find which RINOs are actually compromised, and which ones are just genuinely stuck in their old ways and unaware of what their constituency wants.

Keep letting them know what we want them to do.

6
TheDynamis 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yes. It's very easy to assume everyone is compromised but some are just totally out of the loop. That's a different problem in itself but not to the same degree as treason, obviously.

It is also why term limits should be a thing for congress.

A bit confused, to say the least.

I like Mike Lee but he's done quite a few stupid things / horrible takes over the years

1
Ben45 1 point ago +2 / -1

He seems swampy. Cruz seems all over his cock tho so idk everything about Lee just seems weird to me.

Maybe it's because he's from Utah. I tend not to question those folks over there too much.

5

Mike Lee also. That surprised me a bit.

He has been good. A lot of people rail on him for talking a lot with little action, but you have to be aware that he needs to gather support from his peers for any real action to get done.

Many GOP politicians are either compromised or misinformed about what their constituents want from them. Some of them just watch normal news and are scared of losing their seats, while others will take the side of the globalists who fund them.

5
DblFistinPiston 5 points ago +5 / -0

He's the only senator that works with the freedom caucus for chrissakes.

1
publiustrump 1 point ago +1 / -0

Exactly. Like tech, for instance. Cruz and Hawley have been on top of it, but they can't seem to get any other Rs to care, which is partially their fault, but mostly the fault of the others for not seeing what is so f*cking obvious.

LOL! I actually hate virtually all rap music, but I was going through a bad place a couple decades ago, and some of the young guys that I worked with were playing it in the truck and it.....resonated with me. I was angry, the GB's were angry. It clicked.

Can someone please explain this one to me from a 30,000 foot view? SOrry for being lame, but do not understand this one.

5
Kaarous 5 points ago +5 / -0

Basically the suit is trying to kill the idea of "disproportionate impact", which the left has been using to strike down voter ID laws.

The suit correctly alleges that no such thing is, or ever has been part of the Voting Rights Act.

3
pxmose 3 points ago +3 / -0

thanks!!!

4

Cruz is smart, and he's thinking longer term (post-Trump presidencies). Someone needs to carry the torch for Trump's movement, and Cruz is fighting for all of our voices to earn our support. He knows Trump isn't going away, and by standing with him, he'll earn his support and with it, his supporters. We're observing Cruz making an effort to be Trump's successor, whether it is in 4 years from now, or 8-12 years from now.

Contrast that with the RINOs who are complete idiots and have no idea the shitstorm they're inviting on themselves by being spineless and not supporting the man who gave them their jobs and power.

1
Cozette 1 point ago +1 / -0

Trump has been very clear that based on an ORIGINALIST interpretation of the Constitution Ted is not eligible to be POTUS. Yes, Ted may have gotten citizenship from his mom, although we can't be sure since, like Obama, Ted got a court order to seal his records and his moms records. However he wasn't born in America and only renounced his foreign citizenship after becoming a Senator from Texas. The Constitution only requires double citizenship for one thing; being America's President. That's why everyone agreed, including Democrats, that if Obama wasn't born in American even though his mom was a citizen, Obama wasn't eligible. Cruz supporters who push Cruz for POTUS reject Scalias Origionalist philosophy in favor of thr uber progressive Leftist judicial philosophy. Fair enough but I have NO idea why they imagine they're conservative. Gullible? Bottom line, Trump will NEVER support a Ted presidential run. EVER.

3

This case is about the DNC challenging their ability to perform ballot harvesting. In 2016 the State of AZ outlawed the practice. The DNC filed suit against AZ to challenge this in court under the voting rights act and the 14th Amendment. This is NOT about the electors from AZ, Mark Brnovich, the Attorney General of AZ is a never-trumper. Keep up people.

Another one? Either he's gunning to be POTUS in 2024 or he wants a SCOTUS seat. Can't figure it out. This guy is a machine!

1

Trump will never support him if he runs and Trump will never nominate him for SCOTUS. Trump knows him far better than those starry eyed over their fantasy. Trump lives in the real world.

I do have to say good job Texas for standing up for our country. The fraud that took place has upset me more than anything I can remember in recent memory. When Obama took office I was okay with it because I felt the vote was fair. Then I started to see these mail in ballots become a thing and all the fraud that comes with. If they want us to trust elections we must have paper ballots and voter ID.

The ninth circuit basically cost us the election on this ruling. There was massive ballot harvesting done by far left groups in Maricopa, Pima and Pinal counties. I was contacted by several of them but couldn’t do anything because of this ruling. Ridiculous.
