Dear [dahdahdah_dahditdah's congressional representative],
Thank you for serving [where dahdahdah_dahditdah lives] as a voice of patriotic conservatism in Washington, DC.
We have an urgent need that cannot wait. The 2020 election has a cloud of suspicion and wrongdoing that will haunt future years if we do not fix it now. The State of Texas just submitted a lawsuit against the swing states that cheated to deny President Trump re-election. If we do not fix this now - for this election - there is no "next time."
It is cheating to deny Republican observers visibility of ballots and computer screens. It is cheating to run ballots through machines multiple times, to the point that the number of ballots processed greatly exceeds the list of registered voters marked as having voted. It is cheating for executive branches to change election law to favor mail in vote sloppiness and tolerance of fraud, over against the objections of state legislatures who alone can set election law. It is cheating to receive surprise batches of votes to a canvassing location after the statutory deadline for such receipt. It is cheating to claim COVID-19 as an excuse for an "anything goes" approach to waiving laws and regulations - the spectacle of election workers standing directly beside each other while observers were 100 feet away was an ironic education in Democrat kafka-esque logic.
It beggars belief to say that the top of the Republican ticket lost, while the great majority of Republicans down ticket rose to a decisive victory on Trump's coattails. It is absurd that Biden's shocking vote tallies were only run up in these specific, corrupt blue cities. It is a huge red flag that Trump so decisively won the bellwether counties this year - which up to now have reliably echoed the country as a whole. I join with tens of millions of Americans in believing that President Trump won re-election in a landslide, if only valid and legal votes were counted with proper signature verification, voter roll verification, and deadline enforcement. I join in shock and anger at the likely organized criminal injection into the mail in voting of huge numbers of fake ballots, as discovered by Matt Braynard and others.
The party that winked at arson and murder this summer while unnecessarily stoking racial animosity would not hesitate to benefit from election fraud.
It is the height of ingratitude, arrogance, and cowardice to benefit from Trump's red wave, and then turn and join with the Democrat fake news, big tech, and political chorus of hatred for President Trump and let the Democrat cheating slide. I reject the notion that it's too late to fix this election. There is no "next time." Remember the hate the left had for George W. Bush? Remember the hate they had for Ronald Reagan? Their hate is always going to be directly proportional to the popularity of a Republican candidate. The left will always seek to tell lies about, and destroy a popular, winning Republican. Maybe someday that will be you, and you will know how Trump feels, having the nastiest lies shamelessly told about him on hundreds of journalistic outlets.
You must stand up for Trump. Could you file an amicus brief with the Texas SCOTUS lawsuit or another lawsuit? What can you do in Congress? Please, [dahdahdah_dahditdah's congressional representative], stand now and be counted. If you are not on board yet, then please read the lawsuits, the witness testimonies of Democrat cheating in the big blue cities, and certainly Mayor Giuliani's witness affidavits. I am confident you will see that Trump has a case - or should have if right prevails.
Sincerely, [dahdahdah_dahditdah]
Was a congressional intern years ago who dealt with constituent letters + calls.
What happens is, the letter is skimmed to determine your point of view on some subject (e.g. "pro-choice" or "pro-life") and added to a tally with the calls. Then, a report is given to the congressperson ('we got 202 letters this month against abortion and 209 for it').
Point is, your can probably do this with much less effort with a couple sentences. But letters and calls count a lot.
Made me feel better, anyway.
Not crapping on you at all! Only trying to let people know they don't have to put in this much effort.
I'm with you pede, hence my upvote. Truthful and educational information is always in season. :)
Man, I've been so inactive on this board for so long. Haven't been called a 'pede' for years. Feels good man!
