hey my bad, did not mean to upset, but it is talked about all the time, mainly in jest. Of course it is horrible when that happens, but what is even more horrible when you have an officer with little to no experience prepared to send enlisted men to their deaths to further his career EVEN though he knows the whole thing is a SNAFU from the get. Getting killed by the enemy, or whomever, you are still dead a butter bar does not justify horrible decision making in a war that is not total war.
No, but I did make a shiny new 2lt straight up cry once when I was a plt sgt. Crawled right into the back of a 113 and let the tears flow. He didn't last long in the company after that. 12B, btw, which is 1 smarter than your average infantry soldier.
No I had cool leadership when I was in.
lucky
must be an officer

then why do you have castles and we have rifles?
Lol, fair enough. How about "so we had someplace to store our c4 because the infantry kept trying to eat it" :)
thats fair too...ill give you that
Not a 2Lt, but an E5 team leader. 11B turned 19D here.
i think only 11bs talk about this regularly
