I've been talking about this for a while, but their fucking absurd "strict vs. loose interpretation" debate literally boils down to "follow what the constitution says vs. let us make shit up"
The poster is damn right they have a case, the Constitution is clear and there's a reason libs want to flood the Supreme Court with activist judges that lean towards loose interpretation. They'll make up whatever to fit their cause, even changing the meaning of clauses in the Constitution itself. Whereas conservative judges (actual conservatives) interpret the Constitution as written, which -oddly enough- IS THE ENTIRETY OF THE SUPREME COURT'S JOB
