I understand it all too well, when i was in highschool (graduated in 2012) the two most senior teachers in the school were literal communists. Not extremely liberal basically a commie i mean actual legit communists. This was in Hampton NH which is a small seaside town. Teachers unions and the public education system are complete cancer.
Graduated 2011, same. The only teacher I had that was based was the geography teacher. He passed away this summer and they still haven't held a visitation because of COVID
