Doomer bashing is the only hesitation I have for sending new people here. People are so absolutely demoralized and fucked up that they are unusually vulnerable. I can't imaging the shock of coming here for the first time after taking mainstream beatings for weeks post elections. I know they should have thicker skin and be stronger but it's bad on the street level for low info conservatives. Especially the ones who spent most of this year trying to survive what local govts have done to them over cv19. I give a disclaimer to people I send here and then just hope they survive.
Seriously - I’m way more annoyed at people here who are blindly optimistic and acting like we got this in the bag - The reality is that no ones knows what’s going to happen
This site is, by definition, a non-stop Trump rally. If you click on "deport" under my post you'll find "questions and concerns" as bannable offense. One cannot discern between a concern troll and someone who's ill informed.
So the prudent thing to do is to give them the information they need, and if they continue dooming, to call them out and tell em to stop posting and lurk more.
How's that not against freedom of speech? - you ask. In the same way it's not against freedom of speech to tell your children to shut up so that the adults can talk. They literally have the while internet to gloom and doom in, why come here and ruin everybody's fun?
Yes I agree I was actually like that. I insulted my friend and although it didn't strain our friendship whatsoever it's not a habit I want to get into. I hate it when I get insulted because I don't understand something and the insulter doesn't understand I'm just misinformed.

Agree. Is the goal to insult or educate/encourage? We need to educate, not alienate. (I didn't mean for that to rhyme)
I think sometimes (other than shills) people doom on here because they need encouragement and are just feeling low.
I agree, but it can be difficult. Those who operate on high energy and are annoyed by doomers also deserve understanding.
