While the Polish government is outwardly pro-Trump, anti-refugee immigration and seem based to the outside, these welfare state policies are exactly the kinds of policies that subvert the values of the society and turn them into a bunch of Marxists. I forgot to mention that this government is adding more taxes than ever before to cover their stupid ideas and corruption - just recently they passed a bill that taxes sugar, but what's great, is that it also taxes drinks WITHOUT sugar. Another example - you vape? Great, now you will have to pay up to 3 TIMES AS MUCH for the same amount of liquid(? i don't really know how ppl who vape call it), because they also passed a bill that taxes it! I really advise you ppl read up on the actual situation here in Poland.
Yup. Tax and spend policies. Bigger government. More reliance on the government. This leads to a satiated public who become entitled and lose their sense of freedom and autonomy because they learn to need the State rather than rely on their own competence and that of their family or immediate communities. This reliance on the State leads to people to vote in more policies to further enhance the size of the government. Before long, you get free healthcare, free education, free universal basic income, etc... Your sense of freedom is gone and replaced by a theme park lifestyle that is safe and secure but entirely reliant on the government which pushes its collectivist ideology on the people through public education and subverts the family and the culture of the society to push neoliberalism.
Make no mistake, the global powers are specifically targeting Poland and they know the methodology to get what they want. The welfare state is one step in the process.
Unless you get a government in that dramatically cuts welfare programs, cuts taxes and defunds public institutions, you're on a one-way track toward a culture and society the same as the rest of western Europe. Say goodbye to your own freedom and say hello to big brother. Your sense of purpose and spirit will be destroyed. Genuine emotion and care for your fellow man replaced with superficial dopamine rushes in order to keep you productive in order to benefit the owners of the means of production who will not reinject the value of your labor back into your local communities.
I can't agree with you more, what's more - they are doing it in a very clever way, by portraying themselves as a right wing party due to their social beliefs. However, I would argue it's not due to some global powers being in play, more due to the fact that the PiS party wants to stay in power as long as they can. Otherwise they would be leaning more towards the UN.
