Everyone I love is here in Cali. So I will stay and keep voting & fighting the good fight!

jdog 61 points ago +61 / -0

It's funny, I was in San Diego. Everyone I ran into seemed to be based. Every single one told me the people in California are crazy. Makes you wonder if California isn't more red than people say and it just gets screwed with voter fraud and LA.

Get this... California was home to two famous Republican Presidents, Nixon and Reagan. In 2002/3 Californians voted to recall the corrupt Democrat Governor Gray Davis. He was replaced by Republican Arnold Schwarzenegger. In 2006, Arnold Schwarzenegger won re-election. Republicans have never won anything there ever again.

Smartmatic hits the scene in 2004, used in corrupt elections in Latin America in 2006. Do we see a pattern? Is California actually a Texas-lite? It’s my opinion that yes California is truthfully a Republican majority but through trickery and fraud the Democrats have stolen and destroyed what was once the greatest state in the Union.

After we get Trump sworn in we need to fix election integrity. The 2022 midterms will be shocking!

Makes sense that they would target and prioritize doing this in Cali for it's 55 electoral votes.

8
Sargentpilcher 8 points ago +8 / -0

I believe this as well

4
POed_Texan 4 points ago +4 / -0

I agree. They are a slave state. Republicans are only worth 3/5ths vote.

refresco 21 points ago +21 / -0

San Diego pede here. There are tons of commies here and like usual they tend to be the loudest. I underestimated the amount of conservatives here for years, but I'm starting to realize we are here in big numbers minding our own business.

That is mostly true but don't forget the Bay area libtards. Only saw a single Biden sign in my suburban neighborhood in San Diego, a county which is heavily military.

6
MachinistBob 6 points ago +6 / -0

Not all of us up here are libtards. I saw 2 Biden bumper stickers the entire election, and no yard signs.

Trumper007 6 points ago +6 / -0

I'm in SD. Many retards. I and my friends are based though.

The servers they uncovered showed a lot. Why would they need dominion machines as well as mail in? Did you see maiden gate when it comes to ex California residents? Shits crazy

Calipede here. I've lived here my entire life, my family has held the same land for generations, which I'm expected to inherit. I want to be able to continue this legacy without being it tarnished by or having to leave it behind because of commie bullshit. Hold the line fren, we will win. California will be ours again.

3
engineerpede147 3 points ago +3 / -0

I agree, we need to continue to hold the line here in commiefornia. One day (hopefully soon) we will advance the line remove the commie plague from this state. 90% of the family here in California support the GEOTUS and voted for him. Need to work on the last 10%.

3
MingyGingy 3 points ago +3 / -0

My 10% that doesn't support GEOTUS are first in-line for a deporting.

1
engineerpede147 1 point ago +1 / -0

Their kiddos wished they were old enough to vote for the GEOTUS. Luckily for the 10%, the redpill is a suppository. If their body rejects it then yes deport.

(Full disclosure, I don't want more Californians moving to my state)

>I don't want more Californians moving to my state

We didn't want anyone moving to our state either, yet here we are:

touchmystuffIkillyou 2 points ago +2 / -0

tbh it is New Yorkers that ruin everything

0
borscht-nazi 0 points ago +1 / -1

It's the douchebags that ruin everything, they exist among any population.

3
touchmystuffIkillyou 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yes! New Yorkers, like I said.

0
borscht-nazi 0 points ago +1 / -1

I wouldn't know, tbh. I knew only a few people from New York, less from NYC, they were all okay. I've met a lot more scumbags from Mid and North West, and New England though. One way or the other, not enough to draw any conclusions, people are people, shit exists everywhere.

2
magnifiscent 2 points ago +2 / -0

As a proud Texan, thank you for staying in Cali. Even, especially, if you're one of the good ones.

1
IntrepidBurger 1 point ago +1 / -0

According to Sidney Powell California actually went red this year but was flipped by fraudulent votes.

So keep fighting, you almost have it!

34
ModelMinority 34 points ago +34 / -0

Smart people do this. The taxes and pure bullshit measures (all supporting BLM) in California make it ridiculously bad to conduct business in the commie state. We are witnessing the precipitous decline of a formerly great state into the next Venezuela, where criminals run the streets, businesses are closed, people are unemployed, yet somehow the political elite get richer while their supporters get a free iPhone.

Texas has no State income tax but they make up for it with high property tax. However, if you pick the right County you can keep your property tax lower than other counties. Harris County (Houston) I think has the highest, while rural counties are considerably lower. So the trick to paying less taxes in Texas is to have a high income (no income tax), but live in a modest home in a lower tax county.

They are surprisingly based. I am buddies with a small handful from college and they are here on T_D.

1

That is awesome. I love what Elon does, Tesla model S is my dream car.

11
America_No_1 11 points ago +11 / -0

When you bring a business to California - they tell you how high, how big, how much, how many permits, and who you can and can't hire.

When you bring a business to Texas - they ask you what they can do to make you happier? How can they make bringing your business here more attractive and less costly? Oh build whatever you want and hire whoever you want.

Freedom versus nanny state in full effect.

I'd like to move to Texas but

  1. It's hot
  2. It's flat

Love the peeps though.

6
Whyreracialize 6 points ago +7 / -1

It’s not all flat. Hill county and west Texas panhandle might be places to look

4
America_No_1 4 points ago +4 / -0

I live near Fredericksburg...definitely not flat. Hot as all hell though.

6
MullyGrubber 6 points ago +6 / -0

It's not flat in the middle or in the West. It's heavily forested in the East.

The weather is fantastic October through May, then it gets HOT.

Today is absolutely perfect weather.

3
phuckles 3 points ago +6 / -3

Heh. As an Australian living in QLD I always find it cute when Americans talk about 'Hot' weather. Really American hot weather is just beautiful weather!

What’s wrong with it being flat?

1
VoteCyborgTrump2040 1 point ago +1 / -0

What's wrong with that? Your wife fits the criteria, and you married her.

9
Non_Fren_Bopper_3000 9 points ago +9 / -0

California 13% state tax will make you do that. Imagine how much he will save.

5
TommyLasordasBallBag 5 points ago +5 / -0

And a 7.25%-10.85% sales tax depending on where you live if you decide to buy anything. 1% property tax (based on value of home) every year. 72 cent per gallon tax on fuel. If you smoke, prepare to pay $4 more for your nicotine in tax. Registering a vehicle? Has to be done every year, and if it's a pickup truck - get ready to bend over for a weight tax. You even get taxed on OTHER people's DUI's by registering your vehicle.

This state is crazy.

4
DJT_JR6544 4 points ago +4 / -0

Wow, that is communism.

3
TommyLasordasBallBag 3 points ago +3 / -0

People who aren't from here seldom understand. My wife and I make six figures, sounds like a lot, but We could live more comfortably in other places making half as much.

2
Husla67 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yep, I remember my first job here when my boss said $500k/year was a middle class life in CA and I balked. It's probably not that high, but you need to make well above $100k to have a normal life int he city.

3
TommyLasordasBallBag 3 points ago +3 / -0

Oh more than that in the bay area. If you're anywhere near the big tech shithole, get ready to pay millions for an average home without any property.

Luckily, for me, California is HUGE. So the central and northern parts of the state are still semi reasonable (I mean my 2000 sqft house is still over $320k, but I've got a little property and my neighbors aren't stacked on me). The problem is we live like we're in Texas, but have to be represented by people who have no idea what country life is about.

1
Husla67 1 point ago +1 / -0

There are certainly very small specific areas where $500k isn't middle class, but even in the bay area that will get you a house, a (small) yard, and all the trappings of a middle class life.

2
DJT_JR6544 2 points ago +2 / -0

Lol well, I am maybe exaggerating. Are you in CA or TX? I think I might have misunderstood.

2
TommyLasordasBallBag 2 points ago +2 / -0

CA

2
DJT_JR6544 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ok, so I am not exaggerating. 😂

Man thats great you make 6 figures! I make a humble pittance here in Ohio, but I live happily.

8
MakeFreedomRing 8 points ago +8 / -0

Guarantee he keeps getting ballots sent to him from Cali in Texas.

6
Garbage_Day 6 points ago +6 / -0

What sucks is all the cucks from Cali will follow them. Texas needs their own immigration laws.

Instead of New Zealand, Greece, or France (or back to South Africa), he chose moving to Texas to protest US policy and elections.

2
Chick-fill-eh 2 points ago +2 / -0

To be fair, he's not legally allowed to take any SpaceX tech out of the country.

0
KeepingAmericaGreat 0 points ago +1 / -1

What are you talking about? Of course he's allowed to move out of the United States of America.

E: I have to add it's important to understand we are a country that has to keep people out, not fence them in. People want to enter our country, not leave.

3
Chick-fill-eh 3 points ago +4 / -1

He can move wherever he pleases. Taking rocket tech to a foreign country is highly illegal.

0
LessAndLessIronic 0 points ago +1 / -1

Can confirm. ITAR is a bitch.

Starting a space company in the United States in the first place was a mistake.

0
Chick-fill-eh 0 points ago +1 / -1

Perhaps. But his company would also be dead without NASA funding.

3
mariox 3 points ago +3 / -0

Elon's move to Texas as literally saved him tens of billions in taxes. (if he were to sell all his Tesla shares).

Forcing Tesla to stop production for 6 weeks has cost Cali billions.

3

He’s bring Tesla over too.

Trump probably won Cali. Riggers rigged it.

1
FTR22 1 point ago +1 / -0

IF true, he just saved himself theoretically 13% in state tax. Texas has no state income taxes and the top rate in CA is 13%.

1
becky21k1 1 point ago +2 / -1

It proves Trump right in that CA commie policies are hurting the state. It's a huge red pill for a lot of people whatever Musk's reasoning was. You're right I never was in TX, but I still think this is good news.

1
LLegendary 1 point ago +1 / -0

Huh...what..he doesn't want to live in a socialist shithole?

1

Let's hope it works out better for Musk than it did for Crockett

1

Now begins the 10 year process of fending off California income tax audits to "prove" you actually moved away.
