They want to drop the bomb as late as possible, to stir up a quick emotional reaction among populace. They're hoping that enough people will think the election was "stolen" from them that they will in turn revolt. If you give them time to look at the facts, they might de-radicalize and side with righteousness, a.k.a. GEOTUS.
