Question for legally knowledgeable pedes: I know the Supreme Court needs to grant certiorari before it will hear a case (mostly so that the default is that they won't hear a case so they can filter out all the random useless cases people try to bring). Does being on the docket mean this has already been granted? Or does that come later?
