I am writing to request that your office file an Amicus Brief in support of the lawsuit filed by the Attorney General of Texas Ken Paxton on December 7, 2020. Article II Section I of the Constitution specifies that the manner in which Electors are appointed is delegated to the State Legislature. Attorney General Paxton has provided clear evidence that the states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Michigan appointed their Electors in a manner that was not prescribed by the State Legislature, and is in violation of the United States Constitution.
As a Citizen of the State of Florida, I believe that my vote, which was cast in accordance with the United States and Florida Constitution should be protected from disparate treatment as a result the states previously mentioned holding their Election in a non-constitutional manner. The manner in which these states have held their election has diluted my vote, and served to diminish the Electors that have been duly appointed by the State of Florida. To protect my vote, and all other Florida Citizens, I am requesting that you file an Amicus Brief in support Attorney General Ken Paxton's lawsuit on behalf of the State of Florida.
