send it to the U.S Congress, correct? I say effectively because there are probably other things to do but most of the dates will be past (redo election, legislature selects electors, etc.) Can we trust PA U.S. congressmen to vote for our guy ---- I think they can do anything they want at that time, there is no check on that. They could pick JoJo if they wanted.

No, what would happen is none of the states get to cast their electoral votes. This leaves both candidates below 270. Then each state appoints an elector based on their State Level Congress, and they have to vote on party lines. 26 red states gives us the majority. At least that's my understanding.

VP being Harris with Trump as president sounds like a hilarious setup for a tv show

You are correct.

I don't think they "have to vote on party lines" I just think they only get one vote per state. You would hope that majority GOP states would vote accordingly. I really thought it was in the U.S. House though not the state houses. Senate picks VP.

This is the question I'd like the answer to.

If the same scotus interprets the constitution as it's written to remove unlawful votes or whatever, the same people would use the steps written about in the constitution to fix the mess. That's my guess. The constitution is pretty clear about how to handle a fuckaroo of an election.

I think once Trump releases phone recordings and things like that confirming election fraud it will be a done deal.

If that should happen, each states gets one vote for President, and the determination of which party gets the vote is on who has the most delegates. Right now, we have more. In the new Congress that would be sworn in before this scenario happens, not sure.
