you know he was scared shitless during and after his confirmation via dem threats. he has been a bust on a few critical decisions though not nearly in the same category as the traitorous roberts. the left will probably concentrate on him since he is a bit soft and will cower if he and family are threatened. that's what they do folks and these upcoming decisions are make or break for both sides. this is the same outfit that whacked scalia. they will resort to 'anything'!!

This is why CHAZ 2.0 is happening. Pre-emptive SCOTUS/Kavanaugh scare.

But is there anything we can do about it?

Some hippies holed up in a house for a few hours because they were getting evicted.

If your in Portland gear up get other pedes and smash antifa and let the SCOTUS know we will not be standing by for this. We will not be the same complacent GOP of the past.

No chance of that... a unanimous decision in support of the constitution by the SCOTUS... Doubt it.

Yeah the best we could ever hope for is an 8-1 decision about something obvious in the constitution, with Roberts dissenting of course.

Granted, but at the same time, you know that he'd jump at the opportunity to get one over on Heels Up.

I think a case framed around loss of voter rights is pretty strong. If millions of people feel disenfranchised, that creates big problems.

We won't know who is what until they render a verdict. My hope is they don't throw out the constitution to show how 'fair' they are.

I'd guess that if any personal feelings made their way into kavanaughs decision they would be pushing him towards absolutely condemning and punishing abuses of political power that come at the expense of responsible government

there's a chance that some of the younger justices will use the older ones as cover for staying fairly detached, but im guessing that Clarence Thomas will use this opportunity to flex his skills and intellect and write an opinion that torches, directly and unambiguously, the power hungry shitbird defendants

I feel like he'll get back at them for trying to ruin his life.

Did he really cower, when his family was threatened? Thomas was saying during his own confirmation hearing, that no job is worth what he had to go through. I think Kavanaugh feels similar, but he did stand up to all the ugly allegations thrown at him. he witnessed (as far as I can tell) strong republican support. From what we have seen so far is, that republicans have been pushed around and out during this election. But we are seeing them saying "Fuck you, we're not gonna take it anymore". So I hope Kavanaugh will feel that strong spirit. The left is only strong in attacks with no pushback. Right now, as Trump once said about Iran, "if you fuck around with us we are going to do things to you nobody has ever thought of".

Kavanaugh will vote for the Constitution. If the case is made he will vote the right way. I watched the hearings and that man stood up really well.

Issue with him is he tends to take the side of the government. He was very bad on 4th Amendment stuff. My fear is he'll make a no ruling, rulng. Something like "The States conduct their elections however they see fit, and determining whether it was done correctly and accepted is for the US House and Senate to decide, not the courts. The States are free to break their own laws and pick whichever electors they want. The electors in turn can vote for the person that lost. And lastly, the US Congress can choose whether or not to count the vote of the electorsat all. Since they have those powers the court cannot interfere and force the hand of the parties one way or another. The results from those States will stand. Texas can instruct their US Congressmen to reject the electors from those States in Congress. This is the only relief the court can provide.

In the original 4-4 tie that allowed Pennsylvania to change election laws without the state legislature -- Justice Kavanaugh sided with the conservative justices that Pennsylvania's Supreme Court and executive branch violated the Constitution.

Roberts forced a tie, and is solely responsible for allowing the cheaters the opportunity to undermine our election system for decades to come. If Kavanaugh has any integrity whatsoever, he will not pull a Roberts and change his ruling due to peer pressure. Which ought to leave it up to Amy Coney Barrett.

Hopefully Kavanaugh hasn’t been bought yet.

I’m tired of hearing about people being too “scared” to do the right thing. If you aren’t willing to risk EVERYTHING to fight for the American people and the constitution, you have no business working in our government. Get out.

Thank god they did to him what they did. To solidify in him the idea that we are dealing with not just bad, but evil people, that must be stopped.
