if it was 9-0, then there must be a good reason and it probably isn't something to be concerned about

This. They're most likely determining the best case to grant cert. States vs States, and an equal protection clause regarding Article II Section I of the Constitution (Texas) seems to be more likely a case to decide the whole shebang.

People need to relax a bit before demanding insurrection act, and burn it all down. Reading SCOTUS tea leaves isn't for the faint of heart.

This is the Kelly action, NOT President Trump's case and NOT the Texas action. It may be a standing issue with Kelly asking for injunctive relief on behalf of POTUS.
