I like the sentiment, but that's 99% chance you won't die vs. 95% chance you develop a resistance capable of not catching Covid in the first place.

If covid can reinfect as is claimed, that means a vaccine would have to be constantly reapllied, just like the flu vaccine. So, it's not faulty logic if the vaccine only fight's 2020 kung flu.

Coronavirus is really prone to mutation like the flu, but immunity is not an exact science anyway. I actually had chicken pox twice as a kid, so I can tell you it's unusual but possible if the first case didn't take.
