He does but Ted Cruz offered to present and there are benefits of anyone besides Team Trump doing the entire state case from start to finish. (They can't blame Trump for what the states do. The states winning destroys the claim Trump stole the election.)

This case is bigger than the future of Trump. Its ramifications are the future of America for generations. If Texas holds the line on the Constitution the Republic could be saved for another 100 years, instead of just 4.
